What is the problem with the gv mode? Is it ever going to get fixed? I have film of a tiger getting hit by 3 - 4000 lb bombs. Earlier i drove up to a tiger when i was in a tiger and hit him square in the side and he kills me when my front was facing him. I lost 7 tigers today, 5 were to 1 shot. 3 of those 5 came from panzers. 1 of the tiger kills was over 4k away. Come on! This is obsurd. I 've noticed the team with the lower number of players seem to have "better luck" with this. Is there some kind of eny trickery going on that noone knows about? All I know is no way, no how is the gv mode remotely equal in this game. Please respond and tell me if your even going to look into this or I just have to deal with it because thats the way it is.

GV's are a sideshow. Learn this truth, laminate it and put it in your wallet.

The bread and butter of Aces High is Air Combat...that’s where the vast majority play. GVs are an afterthought to give the game a little more variety ..nothing more. If its ground combat you’re looking for, go play battlefield 1942. It’s an excellent game...and it can be had for 30 bucks with all the expansions....large games are always going on the internet for free.

I’m sure that issues with air combat and planes are always going to be higher on the list just because 99% of the people who play are here to fly not drive.

You guys who complain about GV's now must not remember or not have been around for the GV's 3 years back or so...

You've got nothing to b1tch about. They've come along as far in development as any other part of this game. You just dont have a case.

whatever, I was looking for an answer from Hitech or Skuzzy. Not a bunch of people who seem they need to shed their light on every subject.

BTW: check the stats more people are killed with a panzer than anything else in this game. So, come down off your perch if you can and acknowledge that this is a war simulator and as for "Aces High" most tank commanders were also known as "Aces".

ALso, I have been around this game for quite awhile.

Tanks aren't just about total damage. I.E. After 150 points of total damage, a Tiger will explode.

Tanks, just like airplanes, have vulnerable spots that you need to aim for.

A Panzer can easily take a tiger if it hits the right spot. But until it does, it'll keep bouncing shots.

Think of it like the 8 .303 Hurricane. Spray 200 bullets completely across the enemy. What will happen? Nothing. Spray 200 bullets on an isolated spot or into the cockpit. What will happen then?

Sorry balsur, but you posted on an open forum. If you want to talk to those two in private, how about you send them an email?

Doesn't matter what tank commanders were called in WWII.. they are trying to tell you this is primarily a flight sim and not a fully realistic WWII environment.

Good luck in getting the answer you want BTW, I believe you are post # 387 on this particular subject. Maybe you want to take up a "newer" cause.... possibly jump on the puffy ack bandwagon

GVS attack can capture any base in les then 10 minutes.
so who can say its a sideshow?

i am playing this game for 2 years and my main goal was the Air combat theater.
Time passed and i learened that you cant ignore gvs blitz attack.
So i started to be a GV guy .... and give a hell of a fight.

yes, this is true to some point, however looking at the backdrop and main page, you see what?

some planes, some tanks and even a boat.
aces high is just a name, so you should not use that to say screw vehicals, only planes and pilots are important.
even tho Gv's can blow me.

Those weren`t rocks. Those were camoed land mines put in place by pixelated, guerrila, ninja warriors.

My personal opinnion is that GV's are just fine as they are. But when they take away from the gameplay of the aircombat side (such as milkrunning fields in tanks, camping osties at vulch positions etc.) They suck major time.
