One of my squaddies stopped a capture by bustin some caps in their troops as they came in.

And yes...he was holding the pistol sideways gangsta style. :)

The thing i see is not its usefullness now, but how the CODE and improvements may help aces high in the future.

Imagine spawning with a tommygun,or some german/jap weapon, and assaulting a town with some 250+ marines, and whatnot "AI"

Right now its just "finishing" something we always had, a pistol that never worked, so..at least it works now, altho its useless as all heck, but hey....its a pistol, not even a .30 cal machinegun or anything.

Some day, when we run our legs will move aswell. maby we will even have blood and death animations when being killed, vs the blowing up,part.

I say open the doors on thecontrol  towers - if you can get into a tower or map room as a downed pilot - you should be able to get a  Submachine gun - then it could be fun :)

If you can hit anything at 50 yards with a real .45ACP you can enter professional competition.  I know a State Trooper who can put 6 out of 6 rounds at 50 yards in a 3-inch diameter and he's ranked 2nd in the State of South Carolina.  He uses a modified Gold Cup -not the military 1911 model like we have in AH.

P.S.  73, looking at what you have listed as your location I was wondering how many times you've been pulled over for DUI?  :lol

Was cherry picking A4 last night and made the unfortunately familiar low-alt bail. For once I didn't go splat. So I ran to the end of a runway, and kinda stood there protesting violence in video games (aka, shooting pilots in the face). Nobody bothered to strafe me. I don't think anybody even noticed me.. standing in the open.. on a runway.. right next to spawning planes.. putting holes in their canopies.

I'm gonna have to say, while it's neat to have it, it's pretty useless. The only viable use is standing in a map room and shooting goons as they run in. If you could get something alittle beefier.. like a Thompson or Sturmweghr(sp?) and legitimately play as infantry, clambering over tanks & shooting through visor slits, it'd be awesome. Maybe we can one day, it *is* supposed to be a war simulator.. but until then, this little .45 is a novelty at best.

has anyone ever gotten into a gunfight with an enemy pilot dude?

does 1 hit from the .45 kill you, or multiple hits?
I don't know what to put here yet.
