Well at least you included your dislike for America as a whole this time. Takes the pressure off the U.S.

Jackal1, you think more than half of the americans voted for bush? If I remember correctly, the total number of votes was against bush in the previous elections.

Not to mention that this is only of those who actually voted (not every one votes) - so the actual number of people who voted for bush is much less than 50% and therefore a minority vs. the not-voted for bush.

How many turned out to vote in your country!?

How big is the population?

Thanks for answering that Bozon.

You twist words don't you Mr Jackal1 or you obtusely faile to read the proper meaning to suit your own warped view of what I am saying.

"I'm not anti American. I'm anti what is being done by Blair and Bush."

I realy don't think I can make it any plainer to you. I guess you must be so challenged as to not be able to understand this simple statement!

Now go take a look at the web links. Why not eh?

The "Why we Fight" title of the film cited in the original post is an ironic reference to the WW2 Capra films of the same name.

Nuke, I guess you didn't realise that the film is made by an American. It was just shown on the BBC, they didn't make it.

I was too late home to watch this last night, but I know something about it. One of the director Jarecki's initial references is a speech made by President Eisenhower, in which he warned of the creeping influence of what he termed the "Military Industrial Complex". You can read a transcript of the speech here.

Maybe watch the film and explore some of the references it makes for yourselves, naysayers.

  Sorry comrad. :D
It`s in the doctrination of the Society Of The Evil American.
If by disagreeing with your commie views of The U.S. is "warped", then I`m gonna leave em out in the sun a little longer.

Here`s a thought. Why don`t ya see if you can find a BBS based in your country and slide your views passed them. At least you could pretend someone is interested.
Since you have absolutely no input in what takes place in the U.S. I would think you would spend a little more time worrying about your country.
(Don`t get me wrong. I totaly understand why you refuse to do this. )

I'd say that opinion is divided. Nobody including me thinks the US is totaly evil. Its your govt that we generaly disgree with ( at risk here of repeating myself ad infintum ) I would say that a lot of people question whether the UK should have been involved in the War. Many people feel we were lied to by the Blair govt about WMD to get us in there.

On guns almost nobody would like to see an armed society.

One thing that is a concern is the immigration issue, but opinion is divided about the solution.

Check my signature, we have a BBS... well... it's little silent, but I will be glad to have you there.

No need to learn italian, we can try to use the english like we poorly try here.

Okie doke.
Lied to or not..what about the Kuwaitis and Iraqis like I asked in the other thread? Your the man that wanted to help the less fortunate , so I`m curious to see how this plays out in your theory.
