JG54 fly and kill as a squad. Some may call it gangbanging, but if I ask a squadie if he needs help and he says yes then I help him out. Its called team work, if you dont like it dont fly into a hord all alone. Theres going to be vulching, cherrypicking, gangbanging, est. in all fight sims, games. You cant fix that so the best thing you can do is shut up whining and play.

56th came into the CT last night to furball as a squad. We kept it low and stayed in our Jugs. So how'd we do? Did you guys have fun tangling with Jugs below 10K? :)

Truekill, that is a GREAT way to play in the MA, JG54 would prolly be a very successful MA squad, but in CT, that kind of mindset blows away the minor numbers on other side of the fence, and makes for a less than enjoyable experience for those who pop in and scope things out. 4 guys swamping some poor shmuck who just upped, hoping for a 1 on 1 furball, which DAMN sure doesnt happen often in MA, isnt gonna keep peeps comin back for more. Sorry I missed whatever went on last night, sounded like fun. Dont get much time to fly at night.

that's why they *don't* fly in MA... cuz they're not all that.  in CT they can use their numbers to prentend they are. backed up, of course, by milking the stats for rank.

Surrounded by suck and underwhelmed with mediocrity.
I'm always right, it just takes some poepl longer to come to that realization than others.

not to be an arse but if you want a 1 v 1 you should try the DA. CT trys to be historical and in that part if your wingy needs help you help you dont blow past em and say to bad. even if its a guy i hate ill help out. i may be an stunninghunk but im not careless thats why i ALWAY ask first b4 dropin in, in the CT. but one thing we DO need in the CT is a good allied squad 56th FG stops by once and a while but it would be great if they came more often some of my best fights where when jg54 and 56th found each other. we fly the hell outa our 109s and 190s and they do the same with thier jugs. in the past 2-3 weeks the CMs have been in the CT more so if some1 does start something it ends real fast more ppl should try to CT its not as bad as some ppl think.

This is how I feel as well. I go into the CT hoping to find what is lacking in the MA..respect and fair play. I've been in there 4 times now(admittidly not for very long stretches) only once was it pretty much even and very little ganging. One time while I was in there I had a 190 pass up my P51 to go vulch someone taking off(think bj229 might have been the victim?) He then proceeded to avoid me and do a slow turn back to his base so as not to engage me. He kept goin till a high buddy of his came and then he came back? It was so pathetic I couldn't help but laugh. I guess it's like any arena though, you'll have good fights/pilots and bad ones. Haven't given up on it and will continue to visit. Hope to see you guys up:p

[edit]: TK, I have no problem with a guy droppin in to help a buddy in trouble. 2vs1 isn't really outta control. I find it more laughable that the runner is suddenly brave enough to turn and fight. This is not about the guy who engages, gets beats and runs, this is the guy who doesn't even attempt to fight until help arrives.

Hmmm....

Cant recall saying you were a liar anywhere in that post. In fact was pleasantly suprised the numbers were so high. When I came back and logged back on it was back down (no reason to doubt it got as high as you said). When I logged to MA the map had been reset....

what he said

they are the "best" squad in the ct cause they are the only squad

by some of their actions/words, I think they are trying to keep it that way

One thing that really does suprise me is that I never see JG54 in TOD...here's a chance for them to excel in "their" enviornment (historical matchups in a squad only format) and I never see them....
