My turn,

Had to find out what all this JG54/CT talk was about so went to CT Sunday AM. Had a couple 2v3 fights with another Bish(allies) against rediculously high N1K's and sneaky fast zeros, then my wingy seemed to change sectors and fly elsewhere..

So I'm facing three JG54 KI's gunning together after my lone F4U-1D, so  I take them all to CV ack and land the 3 kills and log.. wasn't much fun

And I'm not trying to "throw rocks"....this simply is the way it always seems to be. I'll certainly come on in and check it out thursday....but day in day out what booz got is what I got when I was there.....cept I never was lucky enough to only find 3 (gee thats an even fight:)).......well close as you'll get I think.

he takes us all to the ack it was only me you fooled with your jedi mind control tricks.

I have never seen a more timid player than this individual.  you were only "facing" me and joedog who is not a member of JG54.

unless your "face" is the arse end of a running hog you are mis-stating facts.  initially it was just you and I but you ran so much joedog felt compelled to dive in a shoot your ack bunny arse down.  I agree with you.  you are no fun at all and the MA is a perfect fit for you.  come back and ack drag me some more that was some skillful ack flying.  to give you an idea the ack is set so low that it took about five minutes of repeated carrier ack hits to kill me and I was out of ammo anyway.  this thread will never die some of these guys are just too funny.

wtg  boozer2.  you might torch a fatty as well you and reality are diametrically opposed.

it was nice running into you in the CT last night.  I have a question for you.  why do you shut off your engine and drop your gear when you are fighting in the corsair?  both times that I encountered you, you employed this technique.  was it accidental?  after the second time I thought not, but rather an intentional move.  I thought you were supposed to keep the hog fast and extend instead of getting into a low E knife fight.  am I wrong on that assumption?  the only people that I have seen successfully employ the hog slowly are N7 and jamusta and they still get shot down as often as not.

All F4U models enjoy a pretty good instantanous turnrate from high speed.  Since the gear in F4Us acts as an airbrake, he was probably dropping it and trying to bleed speed quickly in order to turn inside you.  It's a risky maneuver, but if someone times it right and has excellent aim, it pays off in spades.

ahhh, well he may have been hoping for an overshoot then in order to employ that technique.  he didn't stand a chance.  :D

Perhaps you should inform the millions of Native Mexicans whose ancestors were Aztecs that they are extinct. They are obviously unaware of this Sarge....BTW I think F-Troop was a television show, not reality.

The hog can probably handle the Ki-61 in a co-e 1 on 1 , but the Ki-84  is a handful.

And a KI61/niki combo with 10K advantage are definitely a handful    ;)

I must be doing a multitude of things incorrectly then.  I do better in the Ki61 and will not touch the Ki84.  I want to like the Ki84 but I don't.  second sentance. pot, kettle.  :D
