Are we ever going to get the B25 added to Aces High? This is one of the most over looked bombers in WWII. The weapons this bomber carried were impressive. The H model had a 75mm. It could carry delayed action bombs, para frags and rockets. This would be a premer attack plane in AH. The raids the B25 made in the south pac were amazing to say the least.
I mean the payload on this plane...14 .50 cals, one 75mm T13E1 cannon plus 3,200 lbs. of bombs/rockets.

Neglected to mention the A-26, which came in more varients, packed more power, and served up through Vietnam as an interdictor through CAT and other Airlines of note.

IIRC, the USAAC B-25H were only used in the SWP area of opertions for a short time before being moved over to the CBU area of operations.  I know the Marines had a unit or two that flew them as well as the Navy but I don't know how successful they were.  If the B-25G/H ever makes it into AH, would be cool if it was the naval or Marine variant.

There were cannon armed Gs operated in the MTO with 12th AF as well as the CBI and Pacific.

A B25 C/D and a G would be nice.  Lets the cannon fans have one with the G and the skinners can go to town for MTO and Pacific birds.  C/D allows for RAF, USSR, etc use as well.

I suppose a glass nosed J would work too but I'd take the first two ahead of a J if it was up to me....which of course it isn't :)

I'd like to see the solid nose version with the guns.

in both the B25 and the A26, they would be nice additions but there are many other aircraft that should be modeled first.  namely in the Japanese, Italian  and Russian models.  we could also do with the gun nosed JU88 and the cannon armed JU87 as well.

A few versions of the B-25 would be a skinner's heaven.   Lots of great noseart on those birds.

I believe its credentials are superb, like the P-38 it served throughout the war in every theater.

I wholeheartedly agree, we really need more American aircraft.  They are vastly under represented when compared to the planeset of the other nations.

Bring the B-25 to Aces High.

Just looked at Foxe's site.
RECOMMENDED! Absolutely beautiful pictures.

:aok  Fox!
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

Thanks for the comments Angus - much appreciated. Just added a few more including La-9, Lanc and a Korean Pair. I will keep adding images from time to time. most of which were taken during the last year. We are now getting into the airshow period here in the UK so I should  capture a few more images to add to the site.

Fortunately in the airshow quiet period, motorsport and women are also part of my photographic interests, but I guess not really appropriate for this forum :aok
