Hmmm.......

Warning?  HIDSERV?  HDSERV?  Something like that anyways.

Seems to create some problems with some systems.  Hanging, blue screen, and locking up.

Got installed on my system by a USB gaming keyboard.  Kept resetting hanging blue screening etc.

Shut it down and ran the keyboard as just a standard usb keyboard, now system seems to run fine.

System OS is W98SE but heard XP even had some issues with the above program until service pack 2?

Skuzzy any news/info re this?

HID = Human Interface Device (generic for any input device, USB or gameport) that isnt covered by a specific driver.  HIDSERV is probably a more specific driver for your USB keyboard.
