Hehe, I kinda like Kelly's explanation .  The last official RJO we ran was in January.  Many of the original core organizers are getting a little long in the tooth, and it's been hard to recruit Squad leads to host a mission since then.

Sure, ENY put a little crimp in things, but luckily I think we are seeing a re-birth of the RJO, with some renewed interest by new leaders like Savage of the 327th and Scotch of the CAF.  Had a couple impromptu RJOs recently, and look for an official RJO very soon ;).

Everything that goes around comes around.  RJO isn't dead, was just in hibernation :p.

If you ask me, way back when the ENY was first implemented everything started to go down hill.......Since, i'd say 1/3 of the rooks top players have now switched sides leaving us overwhelmingly out numbered except sundaynights 8 PM.
What really gets me going is when I check country status, such as last night.....Inflight- Rooks, 92....Nits 171.....ENY-3.2
Thats just a load of BS

Oh I don't mind having smaller numbers. When I first went Rook it was specifically BECAUSE they consistently had smaller numbers (as a new guy here, I saw that as making it easier for me to try the perked rides). I've just stayed through the "RookHorde" days because I am a creature of habit. If we turn into the underdogs again I'll be OK with that.

Well I will tell you one thing (and hopefully its this way in all sides), the rooks country channel sucks balls...more people there care about chatting than getting anything done.

There simply ARENT that many Rooks that could give a watermelon if we gettin steamrolled---if ya invest too much mental capital in that stuff, game tends to be less and less fun after a while.

(NOT helping is that a BOATload of Rooks seem to have found various reasons for migrating to the larger countries over last few months)  Aside from that, there are only 1 or 2 REALLY big squads on Rooks,. that I know of...and large squads are backbone of gettin watermelon done
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers

It's amazing on how I have been termed an "a**hole on country channel" for these same sentiments.  But this is VERBATIM of what I have been trying to get across to Rookland for WELL OVER a week.   We have to post a thread about this?  You all know what the **** we have to do, yelling in here, and NOT doing ANYTHING about it in the MA are two different things.

I'm a furballer, I dont care anything about winning (or losing) the war, and I rarely capture bases, though if I'm at a base being taken I always help. The stupid thing about last night is, the 40+ "strat Generals" were up at A4 trying to take it (somebody explain again why A4 was soooooo important?), meanwhile the Knights rolled over 20+ bases UNOPPOSED in the 11 hours the Rooks wasted at A4. After getting vulched at several bases in the South trying to defend alone against Knithordes I gave up. Just to be a jerk, every 15 min for the next 11 hours I'd ask "hey, how soon 'til we take A4?" knowing full well it wouldnt happen.

So, after about 11 hours of the Rooks trying to take A4 and me being a jerk pointing out that we hadn't taken it yet while the Knights rolled base after base, I decided that it would be only fitting if I took it myself. We had a CV close, and I launched an LVT and drove unopposed to the town. I needed some help from the ships 8" guns and a TBM (thanks again hub)  to get the last buildings down, and the base was taken. It took all of 5 minutes.
