I don't wish this season to repeat the previous either. Wouldn't mind Räikkönen to beat the crap out of MS really.

But todays race proved once again what a great racedriver MS is and how dangerous tactician Ferrari is as a team.

The last refueling strategy that renault pulled off was great too and prolly secured the victory.

I am very disapointed in fisichella tho, he was/is one of my favorite drivers but he has not followed up now that he finally is in a competitive team. One victory in 4 races is not bad at all, but in the other 3 races he has really let me down.

I hope Montoya can deliver too when he returns.

yes it was a great raceing day!
to bad this thread ended up as a "anti Schumacher" thread,
so much happened during the race, alot stuff to discuss and
fill a F1 thread about the race today, unfortunately it failed.

I'm no Schumacher fan but he had a great drive today.  I don't see how anyone could have watched the race and thought anything else.

Senna, Fangio, and Jim Clark.  Screw it throw Mansell and Prost above him.

New rules are great.. want more rules and regualtions!

F1 has never been this exciting and the rules are partly the reason.

you dont become a 7 time world champion and triumph over all of the world best drivers 7 years in a row because your lucky or got the best car etc... schumacher is talented.

although in watching them its hard to say whether he or say senna is better. senna just died sooner had he lived... Where is schumachers equal. senna had to contend with alan prost and betwen them they won six world championships. Poor mansell had to contend with both of them and scraped by with one. I always considered mansell almost as good as prost but more aggressive and prost just about equal in skill to senna but senna being a bit better becuse he was always willing to risk a bit more.

No doubt that Schumi has/had talent.

Senna was a religious fanatic and belived god drove with him and therefore could do anything on the track.  I guess its easy to drive like a nut when you belive that, but we all know what happened to him. Prost feared for his life and cared about the others on the track too and still managed to drive extremly well.

lol Nilsen...I'm sure if he punted Alonso off you would agree with that gutsy tactic?

Hakkinen has had Schueys measure, and I think even the psycholgical edge over schumacher...

if only Mika hadn't lost his desire and edge what a difference that may had made...and what a shame button-gate cost williams a mika drive this year.

Schumacher made everyone look ordinary in that race...even with a 20 sec lead Alonso looked vulnerable, and considering he trundled around in 13th for the first third of the race behind the  trulli train his run before his pitstop and even more importantly the way he maintained his pace after his pitstop showed his class....

Great result for Button, and BAR...Webber outraced himself again...fantastic race
