Hangtime: First of all, there is no freedom of speech (yes you even spelled that wrong) on this board.

Lately this board has changed from an aces high discussion board to 'I hate euro euros hate me' kindergarten mud sling.

Most of the comments seen are so unbelievably dumb, ignorant and clearly a product of propaganda that it's just too much to digest.

If the general level of americans will be the level seen on this board, your nations time as no1 will finish at the very second your generation will be let to make decisions.

Actually voting Bush into power might effectively start the process already :p

So for your sakes, I hope the people posting here are just the dumb minority and do not represent the average citizen of the US.

That's it, I've said what I wanted and now it's goodbye. FYI my pissant nation never has had any handouts from your country. Just shows how little you really know and how much you believe of yourself.

Your country is not the savior of the whole ****ing planet even though your propaganda machine is trying to impose that on you, or maybe you just made it up by yourself?

Now **** off ignorant dickwad. When you learn to spell, come to visit me up here (that is never.)

mmmm... so it is ok that I have my place of origin on the BB since all the euros are so kindly dispositioned to the U.S.?   Seems a bit unfair...  You could tell me that you are allowed to shoot pidgeons off the town square statuary with a .50 browning so long as you are wearing the right color tu tu in your "country" and there would be no way I could check on it.

you claim that no one in your country except for a few backward types owns firearms even tho they are cheap and plentiful and with no real restrictions for ownership...

This seems odd since most men find firearms at least interesting.

but still... that is as it should be... it should be up to each iondividual if he wants to have firearms and he should be able to do so with the least amount of infrigment from his government.

Wow you sure know how to use the search function onewordanswer.

It's easy to dig up sentences pulled out of their context knowing nobody will ever do that to you since you're too chicken to really post anything original. Not that I could be bothered really.

You're limited to cut'n paste.

Lazs I wouldn't call weapons cheap. You'd have to prepare to pay around $600 for a decent .44 or something similar.

Most people see no use for guns. If they're not interested in shooting as a hobby why would one buy one? Beats me.

And thanks for your kind words lazs. I half deserve those pastes as I sometimes get too fueled up in these discussions.

I'm easy to fall on anti-euro trolls I guess.

what country do you live in where $600 is a lot of money to spend on a recreational toy that will last for generations?

see the problem?  I have no idea of where you are coming from... for all I know you live in some recently freed soviet satalite where $600 is a years pay.

What about ski boats?  you guys have any use for them?

Lazs I'd be happy to tell you the country I'm from but in a private message. I really don't want it public after all thats said and done.

That and I firmly believe on not revealing private information on the web. People have lost jobs and got into all sorts of trouble through weblogs etc. lately.

Ski boats? Sure some people have them. Northern europe just isn't a perfect enviroment for those as the summer and warm sea lasts for a relatively short time.

I do enjoy watersports when we spend time in our house in the mediterranean.

emailing me your location in private would do no good for the purpose of BB conversation/debate.

for the purpose of this BB you are expecting me to believe a lot of things about where you live with absolutely no way for me to check up..

A simple example would be that you claim little or no restrictions on firearms and cheap ($600 44 mag revolvers) guns yet.... no one is even interested in owning them.   this does not jive with what I have seen in the male human... the ones I take shooting all enjoy it and want to get a gun of their own.

Ski boats are very expensive and have their own restrictions is what I was getting at.  if your countrymen can afford ski boats (pure wasteful recreation) then they have a lot of disposable income and firearms would be a pittance.

Rofl Lazs so it wouldn't help you personally at all if I would tell you where I'm from? Why do you ask?

I enjoy shooting now and then. I don't enjoy shooting enough to invest $600 to a handgun and then $1-$2 a shot for ammo, making a hefty bill per month on daily shooting. Sure I could make my own loads but that's too much trouble already.

I prefer to invest the $600 to things like my Nokia 9300 communicator, flat screen display or a projector for the home cinema to give a few examples.

Our priorities are so much different from yours that it seems its really hard to understand. Just the basic fact that we do not feel so insecure in our lives to feel we need firearms for protection doesn't seem to sink in still.

Just the fact that I have 2 toddlers running about the house is reason enough for me to not to get a firearm in the house. They're just too dangerous compared to their benefits that I don't trust myself with the risk.

Just as I won't bring the wood chopping axe inside the house for the toddlers to  play with I choose to keep my house clear of powder weapons.

And just a hint: If you want to check it up just check practically _any_ european country except United Kingdom. None of them have any other restrictions on gun ownership except having to register / get a legal permit for carry. That's all. (edit: that I know of anyway)

I think in switzerland each citizen actually holds thier government owned assault rifles at thier homes permanently after doing thier service.

$1 to $2 a shot?   where are you buying ammo?  even here... fifty cents a round will buy you the best factory ammo fo a 44.  twenty five cents is normal and reloads cost about 4-6 bucks a box of fifty... with all that stuff available your uncle must be kinda dumb to pay that.

It just sounds fishy with no way for me to check.   there are reasons your countrymen don't own or carry guns and it isn't because... they simply have no interest.

knowing where you live and not being able to say it on the BB won't help me in these debates.

So far as I am concerned... the place you are talking about is fictional.

Heh lazs.. you can believe whatever your conspiracous mind lets you to.

Yes ammo is quite expensive for large caliber handguns. And there is no other reason for the small amount of handguns except...

They aren't necessities for every day life so only people who see shooting as a hobby will buy them.

I really don't think my uncle is stupid for paying as much for ammo as it happends to cost down here. Are we stupid to pay 4 times the gasoline price compared to US too? Can you mail me some cheap gas?

// Edit I just checked the current ammo prices and I was wrong actually. A 100-box of .357 magnum which my uncle uses is only 32 euros ($45)
Seems I remembered the price wrong or he had some special ammo last time we went for shooting.

As I said, check any country except UK. Gun ownership is banned only in UK of the european countries I know of.
