This has to be the most maneuverable fighter jet in the world.  Considering pilots equal, I think this plane could kill any other plane in a within-visual-range fight.

Planes with thrust vectoring can out manuever it. Su-34 and F-22 come to mind.

Fighters like the Swedish Gripen, Eurofighter Typhoon and the French Rafael all have forward canards just like the Su-30 does, they should be able to maneuver with it.

*edit* ooops meant to mention this: Thats a sweet video, cant recall the name of the maneveur where they go nose up in a very high angle of attack. Had heard it described before but never saw it. Thanks for the video :)

I also noticed that typical Soviet-Russian fighter aircrafts can do some 'unorthodox' manuvers.

Try that with any western aircraft and they'll flame-out.

Avionics... NATO standard still rules

Western engines can rack up more hours, but costly and too complex to maintain. Russian engines are simple, delivers reasonable thrust, but replaced 10x more than Westerners.

Propably not; she's in hospital recovering an operation and I haven't been seeing her in couple days.

The canards of the SU-30 are pretty small. I think the relaxed stability is a bigger issue in it's manouverability. I wouldn't be surprised if the planes you mentioned can manouver with it, even if their FBW-software doesn't allow the execution of a "cobra".

I'm not actually too sure if the plane in the video is infact the SU-30 or the SU-37 which has thrust vectoring.

The video is really cool, but part of me could only think about popping him in an La7 as he floated around in the air almost motionless .

The Cobra is where you hang motionless in the air allowing your enemy to get a good lock on you.
