That thing had to have thrust vectoring. I see no other way it would be able to hang like it was. Not too mention controlled flat spins and tail slides.

Other nations are not designing planes like the USAF's F-22. Is it because other nations now have a "secret" that can detect the so-called stealth airframes?
(PS Just my conspiracy theory)

no, it's because they really don't have the money or the ability or the need.

The F-22 is not as stealthy as is possible anyway.

This has to be the most maneuverable fighter jet in the world.  Considering pilots equal, I think this plane could kill any other plane in a within-visual-range fight.

Every cessna and piper cub driver in the free world fears meeting up with one of these.

;)

Now, on with reality.. Soviet airframes, weapons and avionics are not to be sneered at. They built very good fighters with air to air track and target systems we wished we had. Another case where american propaganda woulda got a whole buncha overconfident NATO pilots deader 'n doornails if the bear decided to romp across europe in 1988.

Current Eurofighter Typhoon looks like a relic from the 1970s (just kidding :p)

A little bit more of organic blended wing body design and adding twin tail that is similar to F/A-18 and you have...

Voila! A European version of the Raptor:)

The F-22 has internal thrust vectoring, while Russian aircraft have external.  Internal thrust vectoring provides less radar signature, but also reduced performance.

Gave all outgoing bandwidth to Azureus but I need to throttle it back later; I hope those whos d'load is complete keeps sharing those files.

Edit: Those are DAT-files; they work at least in Media Player 10, DivX Player (Maya), Nero Show Time and some software DVD players; you can also burn them to CDs as VCD files if you like.

Kinda; at least you can rename them to mpg's and they will work as well.

edit: looks like they're basically VCD's.
