How would you react to an outright aggressive teenager coming up behind your back and yelling *MoFo* at you?  I would say most adults would defend theirselves as if they were being physically attacked.  Especially with no escape route or place to retreat to.  The fault lies completely with the kid that gets up out of his seat and follows the driver down the aisle yelling at him.

Agreed, Terror.. if I was a passenger on a regular bus and some kid made agressive threatining moves.. I'd cold-**** his bellybutton and ask questions later.

But that ain't the deal here.. THAT bus driver is a represenative of the school. Care to guess what the school policy is for unruly kids on a bus? Hazard a guess as to why that bus has a radio?

Unfortunately, the moment that bus driver GOT UP to go back there and kick some butts he blew it. Big time.

No question, the kid had an bellybutton whuppin commin. But that drivers responsibility includes the saftey of ALL the brats on that bus.. he shoulda stayed in the seat, got the sherrif on the scene. And quit that stupid job because he's not savvy enuff or thick skinned enuff to deal with the special problems that go with that particular job.

I know I don't have the temperment for that job.. now he does too.

The fault lies with our society that has produced children that cannot be controlled.

As a parent my biggest fear is that my parenting will result is prettythanghole kids like this. Since parents hands are tied these days by our local CPS and the fact that when kids cry woilf to CPS the parents are automatically guilty

Personally I applaud the bus driver's actions. Kids need to be put in their place..and If it had been my kid actig like that..he'd have deserved it and I would say nothing to authorities.

Someone put the idea in our childrens heads that they have some sort of rights...NO THEY DON'T...The constitution does not apply to any child in my custody as far as I'm concerned. They are my responsibility until they reach 18..then they can do what they want..until then they only have rights that I grant them.

well, if you ever hear me talking about changing my profession to bus driver, come kill me.  It would be real mercy thing.

When I was in school, I was very small, and we moved alot, so bigger kids always had to try me out.  Every new school had to remove my bus privilages for that year, so I had to walk alot.  What's wrong with making those kids walk? While attending  one school, I had to walk close to 4 miles to get there, but after awhile I started to enjoy walking to school.

One of my teachers has been a history teacher for possibly 25 years now. Anyways, you screw around or not do a project, he walks up to you and smacks ya in the back of the head and says "What the hell are you thinking ? " And then the usual followup is "Go ahead, cry to your parents I hit you,  they probally will do the same. " So far, 20 some odd years later, hes still teaching, yet you have a parent complaint, and has the highest passing grades in class and on exams. He smacked me good once, turned me around quick, probally one of my favorite teachers in my school career.


Shoulda feinted to bus over cliff, would have taught those little punks whose in control.

He shows no fear of retribution..thats why the kids don't cry to their parents. I feel that teens respect someone more when someone stands up to them.

He should have sat quitely, taken good notes and smiled the smile of a man with power at the little twerps. When the deputies arrived he could have calmly described the situation and gone on with his life. He lost his cool and the kids had him beat.

Come to think of it, we had a gym coach that did a 'chevy chase' on a wizeass. Tripped the kid, then with a fake 'helping grab' launched the guy into some lockers, then flipped him over the bench and then fell on him while bending over to 'help him up'.. all while apologizing profusely.. "oh, damn; so sorry, whups.. oh, crap; here; lemme give yah a hand.. geeze I'm sucha klutz.. you ok??" awsome. The jerk limped for a week. Was all an 'accident'. LOL!

Hangtime, those kind of accidents happen in military program Im in or on the football team. Someone isnt pulling their weight, something happens.
