I have a car! A beat up old Skoda. Reliable as hell I can chuck dogs, and all the other crap I need to in it when it realy is a must but other than that it stays on the drive. It does me just fine. driving isn't a pleasure its an activity to be endured when I have to.
I never thought anyone was envious and frankly I don't care. I ride as and when I want to. I've travelled most of Europe in good weather and bad. I've met some great people, had a few hair raising ( less of that nowadays as theres notso much hair ) times and a few perfect times too. All in all I'm pretty damn happy.
Yeah it would be nice if the sun shone all the time but I don't live in that kind of place. But would you want us all to Lazs? If we did your quiet corner of the backwoods would become one of those cities that you so dislike. Besides I quite like my little Island.
The essential point is that its fine to hold an opinion but what you are doing is telling us we are wrong. Period. That ain't an opinion thats the biggotry you so profess to dislike.
I think you are pretty lucky but that doesn't make your way right and mine wrong! I think I'm pretty lucky too.
And I'll keep my Helmet as it performs two usefull functions. It keeps my precious head safe and keeps those bugs out of my teeth eye whatever.
I suppose in essence I would give Gixer more time if I met him on the road than you because he sounds like a guy with something to talk about when it comes to bikes but hey I'm forming an opinion based on a BBs conversation I could be wrong!
