UP OR DOWN

1. REVERT Spitfire Mk. V's max engine rating from +16 to +12 to REPRESENT a 1941 plane model

2. Add a Spitfire LF Mk. IX for a FREE post '42 spit

3. Change Fw-190A-8 engine, replace the current BMW 801-2 with BMW-801F / TS / or TU

Never mentioned a Spit VII, you prob misread the Spit XII (12)

Spit VIII- With Merlin 66 or 71...yum yum
Spit XII - With a Griffon II or IV...tasty.
Spit XVI - With clipped wings, bubble canopy, 4x20mm, and a Merlin 266...yummy.

Be no reason to perk any of them.

Couldn't see much use for Spit VII - High alt, originally fitted with pointy wings up until D-Day.

I would just like the A8 to have the old forward view.  I have a hard time seeming anything with the new forward view.

LFIX was the mainstay of Fighter Command from 43 on.  It was the preferred Spit IX variant by those who flew Spits.
