Hehehe, you're a dweeb, Blixen.  That's one of the later DOS AW versions, when the planes actually kinda sorta looked like planes.  Now, if you'd put up a shot of the older, boxy gray things that KINDA looked like generic planes, I'd maybe respect you :D

I miss my customized F/A-26 Darth Vader cockpit:

Excellent!  Yes, that brings back memories!  So would the old grayish-white boxy plane shapes Bullethead talked about.

The film viewer for that could do stuff that AH's still can't; and if I remember correctly; HT had a had in writing it!

The AW film viewer was more oriented toward running it while being "in the cockpit," so you could bring up maps and see the radio traffic, which you can't do in AH's full-screen mode.  Also, it has quicker mouse-based manipulation of camera angles, which is very nice.  The last advantage is that the AW film viewer is not full of bugs.

One nice thing about AH's film viewer is being able to run films more slowly.  AW had 1x speed and paused, but nothing in between.  AH film viewer has reverse, which would be very nice except that smoke trails and explosions (and ships) get all screwed up when you run reverse, so it has limited usefulness.

HiTech and Pyro were both very active Air Warrior players long ago.  HiTech wrote VFilm, a gun-camera-film utility for Air Warrior.

Yeah, Headhunter made some good ones.  I remember the ONLY cockpit available for the Yak was his, Kesmai for some reason not ever making one :).

The REALLY cool thing about the old AW cockpits was that you could make them whatever you wanted.  I used to have one that looked like the interior of a Bentley car, which I used for the Sopwith Camel in the WW1 arena :).
