I doubt it, not much out turns the La7.  You could probably dump speed off a lot faster than the La-7 could and try for an overshoot/snapshot though.  Good luck fighting one once the speed drops down to flap levels though... the P-47 (like the rest of the U.S. rides) lacks the acceleration to do more than turn small circles slowly and pray.

The acceleration is a big factor in MA fighting.

I don't think it was as much an issue in WW2 as pilots were trained to fly as cohesive units of 2 and 4.

They dont understand that it is a nasty turning plane when you get used to it. When they do turn, they dont last long.

The 51's got speed on the deck. It may not acel as good as all the others, but it turns like a wet dream with 50% fuel... The 6x50's have always done me fine as well.

I love the Jugs. IMO the D11 and the D25 are two of the baddest planes around. The N is nice but I doubt it will be my main ride. It lacks the speed on the deck I like with the 51. Also, I know the 51.

Yeah, maybe the N turns well, rolls well acels well up High. Big deal. It wont do me any good on the deck, or below 10k where I fight. Oh yeah... the range thing... The 51's got that too. :)

Having had Mane hand me my oscar a few days ago (I was la-5 he D pony) there is no doubt that the pony flown right is very formidable. But at that level I dont know if plane type matters...put Mane in the lala mini and me in the pony and would the resulsts have changed ... probably not:)....

But I was pleasantly suprised that the N gave me "3D" capabilities on the deck (with wep) far beyond what I would have expected...that gave me the ability to "outfly" the other guy more than I'd have had in the D-40 or maybe even D-11.....

Got into it with an F6 last night on the deck. I'm not sure who it was in the F6 because I was blasted apart by 8inch maned ack.... I was obviously a threat to that CV ya know..

Anyways, the N faired pretty well against the F6. Had the fight gone on Im not sure how it would have ended.

On the deck, yeah... Its an OK turn fighter. Up high, I'm sure its a beast. But I still dont care about that. Takes too long to climb up to that alt only to be alone with noone to fight.

I did some on-the-deck fighting in the 47N last night against higher F6s. Pretty equal fighting.  Decision will come down to fuel loadout and pilot skill.

Wasn't that impressed. I imagine with more time, maybe some small special abilities will be made known, but for now it's just another jug.

Frenchy and gang. Fun fights the other night. G10 holds pretty well in a 4 on 1 N fest.

If my being a young kid is my reason for being "immature*  then whats your excuse?

And when did my age become a factor  in my opinions of a game I play? Does my being younger make me less of a person than you or soemthing?  You should realize that no matter what age someone is they are still just as important as you think you are.

first we have a warning, Spade please do not use vulgarity in the TA when someone offends you or is not playing YOUR way, report the problem to the trainers, they will handle it quickly, Sir.

next up, if one insist to do so, they will be MUTED!

if this is not a sufficient prize, then we can award an eject for up to one hour.

Now, had the teleprompter been a working you would have received these prizes the other day, for your abusive language,  please follow the rules in the TA.........

we do not like to give these kind of prizes out ,  but will if need be........

on with the game!

I was there, I heard all the complaining about HTC ruining the P51's and the P47's from some of the people in this thread and  it seems to be all hogwash to me, that P47N is an Awesome bird, hope they don't tweak it too much ( or detune it)
