What is the mission poster going to do if he sees the field flashing after he spent 20 minutes collecting people to join? Post another mission only to have that too reported and same lamers pop up over the field?

I witnessed it twice yesterday, as soon as mission spawn time comes the empty sky gets filled with red cons. Last mission I saw was intercepted by 10+ high enemies. Very easy to spoil a whole mission with a fast plane - just zoom down on the heavy planes and they are forced to dump ords or die heavy. Or die anyway since they get vulched climbing.

If I recall correctly, abusing two accounts in AH is against the rules.

Sure its fun to _accidentally_ happen to land in the middle of a mission on climb. I still remember the time when I zoomed through the whole conga line with a pony scoring 7 kills in one single pass. But to have a second account only to get locations of cv's and missions.. That's just incredibly lame and HTC would do these people a favor if they'd be kicked out because they really need to get a life outside the virtual arena.

Lan, what all these guys want to tell you:

Spies? Yes. Bad thing.

Anything you can do about it? No.

Always have been there, always will be. Start living with it and dont take the game too serious. Youll enjoy it much more that way.

Every user with double accounts on other sides should be shot virtually for potential treason, every day, affecting thier k/d scores.

while i agree that spies intercepting missions is kinda lame, it does help counter the lameness of the  current state of the MA.

There's also a role of Murphy in this. While its unfortunate you got a rectal rearrangement by, quite possibly the best wack'm machines in the business. There is the simple fact that random chance can't be left out - and it was simply **** luck that you and a flight of heavies were upping.

Sorry, no sympathy - no excuses.

Lol yeah.. a sector that hadn't seen any action for the past half hour sports two 262's running in simultaneously with a high p38. Note that no friendly activity was there either so the 262's would have had absolutely nothing to do there unless they planned to do some deacking with them.

Believe it was an accident if you wish wolfala.. A couple hours later the same repeated, but THAT could have been a coincidence since it was a combat area.

Wolfala is a spy. Jaxxo's a spy, Slapshot's a spy, megadud is a n00b, and Stang is a spy. zOmfG!1!!! ur all spyez!!one!!!

Die Traidorz!

Seriously, lighten up, francis. It may be a bit lame, but expect to get wiped out occasionally. Missions are commonly run to undefended targets now because they are typically wiped out otherwise. Relax, have fun, don't sweat the virtual war too much.

Well, the simple fact is 90 % of us have been on both sides of the fence. Unless your either myopic or incredibly lucky - but in either case, I sign off with chance and bad timing. And 4 B24 flights shouldn't have trouble dealing with 2 hair dryers with fragile engines attached unless ur asleep at the wheel or can't aim to save yr life. I'm excellent at buff plinking with rockets midair off a 38, but don't think for a minute that the sheer amount of lead comming off those buff's doesn't give me cause for worry. And if I were in a hair dryer i'd think about calling the rest of the country in on your flight and staying effective as a fighter director then risking the 50cal plink.

Watcha gonna do?

Players using two accounts, two computers and two connections to gain an edge in a game (somebody needs a life really bad). I suppose HTC can somehow catch some of these, but what of when there is more than one player in a family, a person is using two credit cards, or friends are sharing accounts? It's impossible to prevent, but at least HTC makes money off them.

There are also players switching sides and communicating with their squaddies via private channel, VOX, instant message, phone or carrier pigeon. Would it be better to not allow switching countries? Ain't gonna happen.

So what are you going to do about it? I suspect nadda, and it is just a game after all, unless you want to be as annal about it as the spies. But you can reduce the problem by not advertising the mission origin or destination on country channel.
