It's funny that you said "need" and not "want".  Just how extensive is your collection?

But to stick to the subject, numbers will never be perfect.  Have fun fighting and to the bish squads.

Hows that? Free to say and do what I want? Dam, better sue me.

I have got news for you people... Bishops namely. The masses of squads who care only about taking bases. You know who you are. I need not point the finger... The crap gets old. There is no challenge in hording over a base, with bombs, GV's or what have you. Flattening everything and dropping troops. More and more players are seeing that its actually fun to take a fighter up and attempt to fight.

9 times out of 10, i'll see some arm chair general in bishland screaming holly hell because he seens a bunch of guys in fighters fighting, not over a base, but fighting just for the hell of it. "They're wasting time, resources...", all of which could be better used to take the base he is after. Guess what... Listening to that crap gets old too. So players and squads alike move on. I did long ago, and took everyone I could with me. First to the rooks, then to the Knights. Now I go where I see the best fights occuring. This is common for many.

So you want to take bases with the masses and try to force the rest to do as you wish? Fine, but you're going to be out numbered by the rest of the MA.

So tell me Kermit. Did I hurt your little feelings there as well?

Amen Morpheus... I am a bish and to be honest don't care about winning the war or taking bases, I'm just looking for a good dogfight... Now if I can help them take a base by pulling fighter sweeps or something like that then I will. Mostly I'm just pullin base defense, But other than that I'm just looking for a good fight. And then some yahoo comes on country channel saying exactly what u just said, night after night its the same guy, and you know who you are lol. I hate that crap. Every night its common bish this is why we lose, or this is why we suck, or this is why we get reset, whine whine whine... Its not just the bish either, all country's have there armchair generals.  We can also add the Mission guy to that category to. omg heaven forbid someone put up a mission and everybody not stop what there doing and join... they'll gripe about that for hours

Is there a way to do the following?  I looked around in the settings, and it didn't seem so, but I could have missed something.

It would be interesting for different countries to have different icon colors as enemies in the air.  That way, you could leave the underdog alone in areas that have a mix of planes from different countries.  We used to do that from time to time in Air Warrior, and sometimes (if things were very lopsided) have truces so that A and C could take on B (or whoever was the most-populated country at the time).  AH has too many players for truces to work, probably, but still it would be nice to be able to differentiate.

Maybe its just the times I fly but haven't seen anyone accused of being a spy after changing to Bish,,,,yet.

In fact a couple of Knits came over recently and got a nice warm welcome, they were surprised to find out just how cheap perky stuff was. Think at the time 262's were just under 100 perks, Tempests under 20.

As fo K/D ratios - Very easy to get a nice high K/D ratio if you have 80+ players more than the side your attacking. Especailly true when the third side is also almost exclusively hitting the lowest numbered side also.
I think none of the stats show how good a pilot is, they can all be manipulated.

In fact considering how outnumbered we are, the Bish have done a great job surviving on the current map.
A24 a few nights ago was just wave after wave of Knits, don't know how but we held it.
Although we had to perk the bulldozer it was getting so much overuse from pushing KnitBits off the field.
Same goes for P32 and A35 last night.
Lot of fun, and although intially the Bish were slow to react we finally got enough there to hold them off again.

As for the furballers comment - Don't think anyone has problems with any 'style' of gameplay. Just always wondered how you never seem to see them at the really big furballs.

As for Zazen - Well Zazen is just Zazen, same dribble on CH200 every night.

Think the Bish are in a vicious circle at the moment -

1) Newbs are automatically allocated to Bish.
2) Newbs find us outnumbered all the time.
3) Newb gets shot down a hell of the lot of the time.
4) Newb changes to other country with better numbers.
5) Newb 2 comes along, other country now +1 more, go back to 2)

To all the newbs who have stuck with us Bish

It's almost like how it was in AW where you were able to set each country with its own color.  In AH you can only do that on the clipboard map.

It pretty much has stopped since one of the bigger tool shed warrior squads in Bishland broke up and reformed in Knitwitland.  Those were the guys that were the most vocal on calling people spies that just recently switched to Bishops.  Frankly, since that squad left, the Bishops has become more fighter centric as of late.
