I don't think we demanded anything.  We just said that serten actions in the game are plain stupid.  You don't have to agree with that, but thats what I atlist think.

Shub, of the 3 example I gave only one of them actually TAKES the base. Problem is that this base gets taken back by the side that lost it 90% of the time because the Base Flatteners never stay around to defend.  If you think about it how can you defend a base without any FHs to up from?

So you see none of my examples is actually CONTRIBUTING to the land grab aspect of the game. If in examples 2 & 3 these guys are having fun and enjoying the game then I don't have a problem with them. The only people I have a problem with are the #1 guys. What they do makes so little sense that I can only deduce that they are either total tards or they do it for some sick reasons of their own. Maybe they feel as Dedalos says that they will pull the furballers into the Win the War effort but they are mistaken, that ain't gonna happen.

No ones trying to tell you how to play the game. I've flown with you Shub and you don't fall into any of these categories as far as I've observed. It's just that it gets to a point in the MA where it just isn't any fun for those looking for a good air-to air fight because of the lame way some of the land grabbers play their game.

So you see, these #1 guys may not conciously be telling us how to play the game but that's what they are achieving.

You really ought to calm down and re-read the three posts directly above this one.  The posters make valid arguments, easily broken down into points, and you aren't going after them in any way other than a rabid rant that does not address their points.

1st, I've never @#$#% you or anyone else over either vox or ch200 about any aspect of gameplay. You posted a whine and I (and many others) simply tried to educate you (a hopeless task apparently).

2nd, you couldn't rain on my parade (in AH or elsewhere) if you wanted to...you simply dont have it in you.

3rd, I clearly stated the need to broaden and mass market the game (as I stated above). However, the core element of the game is and always will be air combat. That really is the whole driving force behind TOD...to create an enviorment designed and better suited for you guys.

Well,  Risking Scabbies...  Here are a couple random thoughts

1.  Remember Me?  lol   I might actual find time to get active again.

2.  I figured out along time ago,  Im not going to get upset by other peoples actions.   Having expectations of people leads to disappointment.  This is true in fly as well as real life.  If you want to circle tumbleweeds,  bomb deadly static objects,  give orders to the rest of the world,  whatever,  Its not going to upset me.

3  The CAF- Cactus Air Force,  probably one of the oldest continuously active squads flying today.  its been over a decade and many of our pilots have been flying that long.

4   The BKs are flying Rook?  that might be way fun, would love to zip thru their swarm and joke a bit.  that slapshot is such a hocky puck

5  Filth,  gosh,  I need to get up and fly with ya some.  

6  Dont ya just love the frustration flying brings.     sometimes people just got to blow steam

7  As much as I dont agree with it,  The goal of AH MA is capture the flag.  Reset is the built in goal.  Everything else is suppost to develope from the goal of reset.   Doesnt mean you need to play that game,  and I have no complaints if you dont.  Plenty of room for all type of play.  I also dont come unglued if "We are going to lose 43!!!!!"  

8  Have fun and most importantly enjoy those poeple around you that have a common love for AH.   The People I have met, be they squaddie, countrymen or virtual enemies have met over my years has made it all worthwhile.
