Falcon, you need to slow down some and be more observant. I know the large number of BK-avatards tends to make us blend together but you need to understand we (unlike some other squads) are avery loose bunch of guys with very different personailities. Nobody in the BKs speaks for me and I speak for no-one, so just because many of us are active on the BBS do not miscontsrue that to mean that we are some sort of borg with marching orders. If you read a little slower perhaps you might stop embarrassing yourself with so many incorrect statements. For now I'll just deal with the last incorrect statement alone:

Notice Apar only has a few hundred posts? Notice I am a little over a thousand in almost 6 years (probably half of which are in the private forums)? If you count the rate of posts from your noob account you are more of a post-potato than me. The triple question marks were a nice flourish though.
Regarding scores/ranks and taking the game seriously...
I am guilty of all of that at some point in the last six years. I still look at my stats and compare them to MY stats from previous tours. But RANK (please observe the difference) is totally meaningless even if you only compare your rank to your own rank last year. A high rank is far too easy to garner by "gaming the game", and make no mistake the AH-MA is NOT a simulator. I made the mistake of looking at it as a sim for far too long myself. The MA is much closer to the point-and-click first-person-shooter than you seen to realise than it is to a simulation of WWII air-combat. The arena is rife with gamers and lamers, those of us who still play have had to let go of the notion that this was a simulator long ago just to maintain our enjoyment. But make no mistake, it is a GAME, it is quake with planes, nothing more, give us floating health, armor, and ammo powerups and the effect would be complete.
I have no problem with anyone who wants to play the game differently than I do. A high rank in AH will not look good on your resume, it wont get you action in the nightclubs, it wont help your children get an education, it wont turn your wife into a nymphomaniac, and it wont do the dishes or get you into heaven. if you want to play for a high rank then go for it, I hope it makes you happy.
