The numbers of Iraqi national guard and police officers have been going up and down like a yo-yo for years now.

How to win in Iraq?

Win?? In a 'traditional' sense?

Not likely. Don't think our citizens have the stomach for the kind of fight that would take.

Whats likely is Iraq getting itself up to speed enough for us to stop walking the streets with our own troops.

That will cost at least another thousand US lives and another 2 years minimum.
The price of Freedom is the willingness to do sudden battle, anywhere, any time and with utter recklessness...

...at home, or abroad.

I'll say it again in a different manner Nash.

Bush never said the war would be easy. Nobody said the war would be over in 3 years.

You seem to base your views on the weekly news reports, not reality.

asking a question is not acting like a "back seat" moderater.

Nuke - that wasn't directed towards you. For it to be, you must willingly accept that that is the case - in which case there's no problem. If you don't accept it, then it's not.

I didn't get a chance to see your last post, but again I assume it has nothing to do with the Iraq war. Am I right?

You're not going to provoke a response out of me with anything else... so we're done.

Nash, that's a pretty unfair statement in my opinion.
