"Do unto others as you would have done unto you."

I try to be considerate. Sometimes I chk6 the wrong person (too close to the center of screen), and sometimes I don't, but I give 'em when I can, when I see 'em, and when it seems like the teammate I'm giving it to might not know the enemy is there (i.e. won't give chk6 if they're HO).

One thing that hasn't been mentioned is that a Check 6 call can actually be detrimental in certain situations.  For example...you are diving in on a con and have him lined up.  The con is on the 6 of a fellow player and closing in on him.

Do you throw out a Check 6?  If so you will likely cause your fellow countryman to make some evasive manouvers, which the con will follow.  It is likely to ruin a perfect shot for you which would have made the need to call the check 6 in the first place redundant.

Would it be so bad to sacrafice one kill so your buddy can stay alive. Hey maybe you guy's can work together "since he is alive" to take the guy down after the check 6 call. It seemed ^^^ was all about you. To bad if it ruins your shot, at least your buddy is still alive.

I thought you were gonna "bugger off"?

Now, since you aren't, the check six button is useless.  I give ANY 6's I see over range vox and give them the plane type as well.  I don't expect ANY in return, I just do it.   Seems to me YOU are worrying about yourself as well with EXPECTING 6's.

I have one of the best SA's in the game, it took 3 years of playing to acquire it, but I rarely get picked, etc.

Stop your whining and use your hat buttons.
