I am with Shane on this one. Since u say I have alt on the bogies, and the friendlies are only about 5 minutes away, I would BnZ as best I can without givving up my advantage just for a kill to keep them low. Most likely getting a couple of kills before the backup arrives. Then once the numbers are a bit more even, I would make a decision wether to dive in and begin turnfighting, or continue to keep alt and advantage while continuing to kill :0) This would depend on the plane I am in.

E - Fly past horde.. perhaps dropping in to take a pot shot or two, then run like a  girly girl directly away from the heading of the conga line.  

This tactic normally ties up 5 or 6 enemy who insist on hunting me down.

So, in effect, I have single handedly removed 5 or 6 A/C from the proximity of my countrymates coming in behind.  Of course, I will stay low, to keep them from grabbing, and eventually die, as I rarely fly planes that outrun most others.

But, hey.. if I can remove 5 nme A/C from the combat area, that's as good as 5 kills as far as the country goals are concerned.

Usually A, but I also like to drag one or two away from both their horde and mine and have a little sideshow.

Furballs are a blast, but I prefer smaller fights, and this is the quickest way to get one (besides logging on at 7am EST).

I would have to go with FRraptor's answer on this one.  Actually happened the other night.  There I was over 124 (i think) when the rest of the cap purchased their plots of farmland.  So with about 8-10 planes in the mixed bag configuration below me I kept them occupied and unable to climb up.  By the time back-up arrived I had downed 4 that tried to climb out.  The low cons were unable to defend themselves against the incoming wave.  We ended up capturing the base shortly after that.  Was a fun time

C,  Go for the vulch then drag all the red planes that are gonna chase  you(and you  know they will)  away from the base meanwhile the conga line swoops in for the easy capture.
