Well Lazs, it was the Guardian broke the story about the Iraqis using chemical agents against the Kurds in Halabja in 1988, in fact one of the Observer journalists investigating in Iraq was later captured and executed by the Saddam regime for espionage. Given that the Halabja incident was one of those cited as a prime justification for invading Iraq in 2003 and as I don't recall you or Eagler or any of the other neo-con salivating monkeys screeching about *that* story's origin when you were shouting for war, I guess your disdain for that particular news outlet is selective and hence as irrational as the rest of your postings.
As far as the Allawi statements go, he still hasn't retracted them, but I'm sure you know better than him, right?
