Nash.

I don't think it was a comment of the manhood of Republicans, or the lack of manhood on Democrats.
It's a joke using sterotypes of both, that are funny , and carry a little bit of truth.

A Democrat would protect his family as quickley as a Republican. The concerns expressed in the joke would  more then likely occur after the fact for both. Possibly more for the Democrat because they seem to be more socially sensitive. Personally after the smoke cleared my biggest worry would be , somebody would make this out to be all my fault, and I'd go to jail.

Oh boy.

A joke, by definition, is absurdity and exaggeration.  That's what makes it a JOKE and not FACT.

Even an old joke is still a.....JOKE.

Looks to me, upon re-reading this gag, that any 'offense' exists only in the interpretation of the reader;  If you choose to, you could say the joke makes fun of Republicans for some perceived aggressiveness, rather than choosing to see insult to Democrats.  Sure doesn't strike me as the kind of hateful, directed 'humor' that really isn't funny.

Why does everything in here,  even a dopey old joke, have to devolve into some pointless socio-political rant?

This is what a growing culture of thin-skinned, easily offended victims is creating, for all of us to enjoy.

The most this post deserved in response from someone who didn't see the humor was..."meh, whatever".

Instead we get;  "Bonafide Super Heros", "snivvely little nerds", "constantly outwitted by their love of fast food", "kids that never grew up", "suck at the tit of security", "pathetic", "buckled like little girls" and "Screw you and your grade two quiz. Makes me wanna puke"

So I ask, who's actually being insulting here, and who's being a thin-skinned nancy-boy?  Like I said before, something musta hit too close to home.

Gotta lighten up, kids.  And switch to decaf.

.

because it uses the "R" word in it and doesnt make democrats favorable.  That instantly makes Nash froth at the mouth  (along with that unhealthy urine intake)

Good to see you posting again Nash.  It's not healthy to lurk the board and bottle it all up inside.  Let it out man.  Let us have it.

P.S.  Changing back to one of the old avatars wouldn't hurt either ;)

Exactly, Thank you.

And Nash, It shows the extremes. And while the extreme right may go a bit overboard with their "manliness" (prototypical redneck).
Its been my experiance that rhe extreme left tend to be to put a polite term on it.  A bit on the effeminate side.

In any event I put up at the very beginning I said EXACTLY
"Dunno if anyone has posted this before. But I'll toss it out there anyway"

So while it may have been put up "eighteen hundred thousand times. "
That was the first time I've seen it. And Im sure there were probably a few who hadnt yet seen it
And as such I placed the disclaimer.

You could have simply ignored it and moved on to other threads instead of throwing your what can only be best discribed as a temper tantrum.

Confirmed: Study: Whiny, Insecure Kids Grow Up Conservative...
Remember the whiny, insecure kid in nursery school, the one who always thought everyone was out to get him, and was always running to the teacher with complaints? Chances are he grew up to be a conservative.

Nash continued:
There are so many of you little fearers out there that you wound up electing a government that, all they had to do to win your faint hearts over was to say "BANG!" and you all buckled like little girls.

This was no accident:
Why do Conservatives have more Nightmares?
What does it mean that conservative Republicans have almost three times as many nightmares as do liberal Democrats?
People on the right had more nightmares and dreams in which they lacked power. They had a greater frequency of lifelike dreams. Female rights were especially anxious about family relationships, and male rights had dreams almost devoid of girlfriends. People on the left had fewer nightmares and more dreams in which they had power. They had a greater frequency of good fortunes and bizarre elements in their dreams. Female lefts had an especially high frequency of good fortunes, and male lefts had an unusually high percentage of female characters.

Curious.
Would you. and have you ever voted republican?

Can you name the last (in your opinion) and why good republican president?
Can you name the last( again in your opinion) and why Bad Democrat President

Or are you so brainwashed by your political party that you are totally devoid of independent thought whatsoever and the best you can do is spew party line rhetoric and quote largely fabricated stories from completely biased sources such as we've been witness to you doing over the last several days?
Your "How Bush Stole the Election" is a classic example of the very type of thing you are saying Bush said.
If there were a single ounce of truth to it, 9/11 or no 9/11 we would still have democrats swinging from the tops of trees like monkeys screaming it out at thew top of their lungs even today.

Do you really believe that? If so I have this really cool version of 9/11 where Bush ordered all the people on all the flights that crashed and died that day moved to a top secret secure undisclosed location where they remain to this day and instead had exact duplicates of these aircraft flown by radio remote control by Bush Sr's CIA cronies into the WTC, The Pentagon, and that field in Pennsy.

Or is it that your so blinded as many are. In your pure hatred of Bush that your willing to accept anything without question thrown your way that might even remotely make him look like the devil himself?

Now I will agree Bush is a royal a- hole But

Got news for ya. Bush isnt the great evil or moron people like to make him out to be either.
Will he go down as one of our greatest presidents as some here would claim? LOL no not even close.
but he wont go down as our worst either. He'll go down as being..."eh"
Same as Clinton will be.
And while Cinton was also an a - hole. He wasnt the great looser he is made out to be either. But he also wasnt a GREAT President as some would claim either.

Whichever party you belong to. Stop listening to the rheotoric being thrown at you and start questioning party HQ as to their rhetoric and their motives. You will see they dont like when you do that.
They dont like it cause they are both full of watermelon and they know it
Your being manipulated. BOTH sides do it to great effect.
Its all a matter of feeding you a line of pure BS and who;s BS you decide you like better.
You really think the Democratic or republican parties really give a damn about you or your well being?
Hell no. They only care about their inner circle getting into and keeping power. And to do that they will say anything they think you will buy into to get there and do just enough. and I do mean just barely enough to kjeep them there.
They put their left hand on your shoulder, whisper sweet nothings in your ear to keep you happy while with the other hand they are giving you the ole reacharound and playing you like a dime store puppet.

Bush aint great
Bush aint evil
Clinton wasnt great
Clinton wasnt evil
Dont let any party liners tell you otherwise
