Sim,

When the opportunity arises,  just fly through his gun stream.   Don't waste your time even responding to his blah blah blah BS.  Squelch him.
His BS will fall upon deaf ears.

Knock that off, Sim. I've watched you fly often enough to know you're probably in the top 10%. I think you've just hit a plateau. Fly some different planes for a weekend for a change of pace.

As for WTF is happening with this paid emmigration stuff ... dunno ... I ain't been around other then on the BBS here. I'm assuming its a joke thats been taken a little too far. That's what I'm hoping, anyway.

Of course, this may have some relation to recent threads on cheating and spying too.

So these guys think they're in charge of the Rooks now? "Reluctant leader"? Who the hell are these guys again? Guess I should tread lightly so I dont get "hurt".

Simaril has been working with Badboy and Murdr in the TA for the past few weeks. He's showing much improvement and held is own in a big scrum with us on Wednesday night. Us being Murdr, TC, Batfink, Pooface, Infensus (Bighorn), me and several others. Given a few more weeks of practice, Simaril will in the top 5% or better.

I am not making up this B-movie dialogue. At no point did he even imply that his offer to pay his opponents to leave was anything buit serious.

Holy crap, I am so glad I beat the rush and left when I did. This 'New Era of AH" aStone and the LCA are supposedly the founders of may end up finding them on Rooks all alone...maybe that's what they want I dunno...But, being that stupid should be a capital offense...

Simaril, I would like to say you let this guy get under your skin needlessly, however I can't. It's gone beyond playground antics and is seriously ticking me off too. It's really sad how about a year from now someone will be berating knights or bishops for mass raiding, and the LCA trump card (kinda like the race card now) will be pulled, "Remember when the rooks were the raid dweebs". I'm so embarressed.

I am a Bish...

I have no problem with the LCA...

the rooks horded looooooooooong before the LCA ever existed or al gore invented them.....

the LCA may be the current name of the rook horde but puhlease dont tell me i only now believe there are hordes on every country....

i beleive the knits have their own hodes called joint ops...at least a few times a week i run into huge mission composed of 2-3 squads...

and yes the bish horde as well......

so to sum up.....hordes are everywhere and in every country...given the current MA numbers it is the only way to take a base.

the only difference i see is that the LCA "horde" cant stay off these boards and let the fuss die off....

The issue is that it's not just a horde, it's a horde that thinks it IS the Rook country and that anyone that isn't a part of it is a loser that doesn't belong in their way.

Cool.

If my life ever starts to approximate a stability that could be described as "normal" I may join you guys there and get back the touch for edgework I used to have. Right now with so much going on I just don't have the attention span for prolonged furballs or dogfights. Hell, I gave up sim-racing entirely for the same reason; you just can't take Masta at 200+ while thinking about other things.

Just the other day one of my guys was posing the question of changing sides. I dont jump sides because of a small group of people that are  but a small reflection of the total side.

If I dont like the way something is going I'll go fly somewhere else. I'm not that great of a pilot either, but I still have fun and dont have a knee jerk reaction to jump ship because of a few folks with communication issues or ego's.

It is frustrating at times I'll admit, but I just roll with the punches or try to in any case.
