Thanks for the kind words.

The help I've gotten in the TA has made a huge difference... in the practical tactics. I have too many holes in my skill set to be as good as you guys are talking, but with the help I've been getting I dont doubt I'll get near my potential.

The big message I'd send about gettign better is this: it takes 50 times longer to pick things up "on the job" in the MA, adn I know because thats about all I've done till now. I've improved more in the last 3 weeks than I have in the last year on my own. Pop in to the TA, ask a trainer, and start learning how to use the tools right!

you did post one thing in that post that was 100% correct...nobody made us switch.  somebody posted earlier, they just roll with the punches...i got tired of rolling with the punches and decided to switch things up a bit.

yeah, they weren't made to switch, they chose to switch because they got fed up of the rude and ignorant 'generals' on the rooks, a side the 475th have been with for a long time.

now if you're making entire respected squads leave your side, instead of trying to involve them with what you're doing, and instead of extending an open hand, you offer them the finger, what do you expect.


have any of you noticed that these guys like aStone dont have accounts on here? it seems that winning is all that matters to them, and if winning is all they want, then winning is all they shall ever receive, if they ever deliver that to their 'countrymen' at all.







so, i say,


the LCA thing is a done deal, no point in arguing with them, they have already made up their minds. in time, they will see the errors of their ways, and if they dont, so be it, they can walk among the lions blinded by their own arrogance. the best way to convince a fool that he his infact wrong, is to let him have his own way

and i say, if the arrogant jerks want you to leave their chess piece, do so, not because they ask you to, but because we do not pay money to listen to some 'general' order us around, and because if you are not welcomed by your 'countrymen', then are they your friends at all?

and if they are not your friends, what are they but your enemies? if they insult you, attack the way you play, well, so be it. with every insult, not only do they lose a possible friend and ally, but they lose the respect of 10 more. the rate things are going, the rooks, or whatever they may become will become sick of the LCA and leave, and that is only going to totally destroy this fantastic game, or the rooks will finally stand up to the people that have been growing slimily underneath them, and tell them that enough is enough.

i hope to god it's the latter







the days of the LCA 'generals' are numbered. i do not blame the LCA for their actions, afterall, many of them are on, or only just past their 2 week trials. the problem with the LCA is the leadership. aStone and delta are greifers and arrogant knob jockeys, and they will get what's coming to them, most likely through their own doing.

Yup ... the myth that you learn "by getting shot down a lot" is a crock. In the MA there's not much chance to analyze what happened. In the TA there is, so the deaths at least teach you something.

Our squad did the same thing when we came to the Rooks.. But what some of this crap is coming from is from two squads that have a totally different outlook to this game and thinks the other is wrong. Why does it have to be wrong, Cant it just be.....

Dunno about that last allegation. I peeked in for an hour before dinner. Odds were more balanced than a couple weeks ago, but Rooks were still rolling. Tagged along on a couple LCA missions; one worked, one didn't, big whoop. Everyone was having fun ... even on the whacky Stuka raid.

Killed a few Knit divebombing 24's and Kamistangs from the CV 5-inchers while chatting (oh no ... Knit Griefers!). Killed a couple Bish and Knit pork-dweebs doing "their thing" 2 bases behind the front lines in a D-Hog (oh no ... Bish Griefers!). And got one splendid kill on a Knit Pee-Terd-He-Ate who thought he could rope my D9 at 20K but figured wrong ... ho ho.

Bottom line ... aside from the odds now evening out some, not much seems changed. Much of the idiotic crap I saw on Ch.200 came from the very people who've been preaching "community standards" this last week. Well done.

ahhh.  Most of us, if not all, dont think they are "wrong".  we dont like it, but to each thier own.  it started to irritate me when 2-3 times a night, that style of play interfered with the fun i was having.  so rather than keep "rolling with the punches", i switched.  happy to say ive only had to "roll with the punches" about 5 times in past month or so since ive switched.
