I'd like to see scores turned off (in the AvA at least), they don't really tell how well a person flies. But I also understand the HTC ideology of having the best shown, gives a point to strive to.

Oh well, I do suck (looking at the scores - and I really am a lousy stick!) so I don't need any k/d or any other stats to back it up... But I guess some really try to be the best in the MA, even if they don't usually read the home page of HTC...

I didn't mean not to show the top ranks of those who play for the score. On the end, as someone said, it's a competitive game, and some do feel pride in having good rankings. Nothing wrong with that.

I was going more with the line that HTC could occasionally check the stats and those like Katnip should be excluded.

Otherwise, the whole thing is just a mockery...

~~edit: I just checked the HTC home page, I really don`t know anything about the MA scores, has Katnip (top fighter ranking) somehow manipulated the scores? Or what were you trying to say?~~

He didn't 'manipulate' the score, he just found the holly grail of skillz, that turned his ID from LTARkilz aka mediocre to 'Katnip the uber leet fighter jock" in just about 3 tours.

It has gave him supernatural powers which attracted JU88s by his aura in unbelievable numbers just to be fried by his look alone.

I don't have problem with those supernaturals, but irks me that HTC put those in the same baskett as us mortals...

Let's not minimize his leetness, guys...so far this tour he's like 82:1 in GVs!

After his stunning tour de force as a fighting killer of Ju88s, he's now aquired amzing, unstppable GV skills!

Course, he still has his magnetic Ju88 powers, having gotten 20 Ju88 kills out of his 21 total, all in the A8.

Since he's also killed one other plane type, a single La-7, I'm sure its all legitimate. Come on, admit it -- we've all had those 2o kill runs with every kill being the same plane type!! Several tours in a row, right?

I'm not sure how HTC would approach this...where does one draw the line between "fair" and "unfair" scorepadding?

In truth, Kaatnips mistake may just be his amazing...ummm... lack of intelligence?....in choosing what targets to up with his 2nd account (or cooperative buddy or whatever). While that is worth exposing and ridiculing, do we know how many others do the same thing with more subtlety?

I'm betting that we're better off not expecting HTC to do anything, but instead to mercilessly mock the dude when we see him ni the MA....

I think the guy keeps running into that one guy who ups 88's when a vutch vest is taking place. He comes out guns blaring. Dies. Then does it again...and again...and again...you get the picture.

KaTnIp is good, I'll grant you, but the guy who managed just under 50 disco's last tour, none of which were due to connection failure and all of which came right after wings and things came off his plane is much, much better.
