haha!! Most kids I knew joined the army or guard to get out of working! Seriously, the only good paying jobs at the time were hard labor, totin' block, mixing cement, lumping bundles of shingles up a ladder, etc. I ate it up, made good money, but some went into the service.
One kid went to Germany in the army, went in as an e somethin, did four years and came out the same rank, they tell me you can sleep through four years and gain at least one rank. He kept getting busted goin somewhere doin drugs all the time. Paid for poontang alot, caught the drip and had to be treated. He is the only person I know to pass out at a van halen concert. He "had a good time and didn't have to work".
Oh yeah, that did him alot of good. He's still a little burnt, ran into him at the post office, had that jim from taxi look goin on
