come on i remember AH without this 200 MPH rule and its getting pretty annoying...im in a dogfight and my wing barley scrapes the ground and i die cause i was over 200 MPH...WTF! I dont want no BS about well pilots would have been scared to crash land at 200, THIS ISNT REAL LIFE! in real life a plane could crash land over 200mph and make it...NOW PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY WE HAVE THIS FEATURE AND I WANT IT DISABLED NOW!

Do you have any idea how fast 200MPH is?  And no, planes that crash land at 200MPH DO NOT survive.

wanna bet?...if you had a smooth grass patch of land it is possiable to crash land your plane without much trouble...wait a sec...THIS ISNT REAL LIFE!

It's because people were getting ditches at warp 5 speeds.
I was getting silly. Shoot a guys wing off and because he was low enough and going in at a slight angle he gets a ditch.


If you were to clip a wing tip at 200 MPH ... It would be like the hand of god reached up slapped you to the ground.

find a nice flat stretch of road at least 10miles long.

find a fast car.

get going at least 120mph

open door, and smack the ground with your hand.

see how that works out for youl

(and no, don't really do this.  I add this in case somebody is dumb 'nuff to actually try it)

Holy  tempertantrums batgirl!!

A) trying to get something from hitech this way...wont work matter of fact bad things have been known to happen to ppl who DEMAND things this way

B) Do you fly IRL ? as others have asked already "Do you have ANY idea of how fast 200mph really is"?

C) The reason its there as stated already is to put a stop to dweebs trying to ditch so a kill wouldnt be given to the stick that shot their pathetic butts down.

D) if your flying at or even near 200mph and you "scrap" your wing as you put it on the ground you would find in a VERY short amount of time the rest of you would be scraping along the ground becouse your plane would have desintergrated after it scraped, cartwheeled, bounced, cought fire, blew up, and a few other things that happed when a plane CRASHES from its wing "scraping" the ground

E) Dont scrap your wing IE: pull up!

F) lower your gear when landing

G) go slower than 200 mph when landing or "scraping" your wing

H) Fly better






This post is meant mainly as humnor, its a GAME stop being SOOO serious!! and just PLAY

I've been to 175mph in a car (ferrari spider...), and that is INCREDIBLY ****ING FAST. If a piece of metal (with a large amount of weight attached to it; ie a ***** plane) that isn't designed to make contact with the ground somehow slams into it, BAD things are going to happen.

And no... I don't plan to let anyone drive that fast with me in the car again. You catch up to the cars ahead of you a wee bit too fast for my tastes :eek:

You don't need a fast car to get to 120 :p I can get my integra (mostly stock still) up there pretty easily. I'm pretty sure my sister's grand prix (gtp) could handle it too. I kinda miss the drive from Toronto to Montreal... never any cops during the week :O

yeah i want a piece of that action!!
got 50 bucks says your wrong. a plane crash landing at 200mph wont matter if its smooth grass with foam and ping pong balls covering it. :O
