Don't forget there were a lot more airplanes in Korea besides the MiG 15 and F-86 although both of these outclassed everything else. The US Navy had jets but had stuck with straight wings due to stall characteristics of early swept wings (kind of a problem for CV ops) so couldn't reach the speeds of the 86 and 15. All the prop jobs were either leftovers from WWII or planes that were in development but weren't finished in time for the big one. The jets would be cool but you have to remember that all were woefully underpowered (by today's standards) and, with the exception of the F-89, none had afterburner so they would not be a heck of a lot better than the 262. Anyone expecting to be flying something that perfoms like an F-16 would be disappointed.
This would be an almost complete representation of the Korean combat planes:
F-86 Sabre. The F-51 for you Pony drivers....and the F-82 Twin Mustang for you real hardcore recidivist Pony guys. Also the F-84 Thunderjet, F-80 Shooting Star, F-89 Scorpion (with afterburner!) and Meteor.
Bomber guys would finally get...drum role....a B-29. Also the B-36 and B-26B/C Invader. (Let the n00k discussions begin).
Navy Bubas would get the AD, F-4U, F9F Panther, F2H Banshee, F3D Skynight, F7F Tigercat, SeaFury Mk11, SeaFire Mk47 (still had .303s!), FireFly, and TBM.
You commie types get the MiG-15, Yak-9, LA-9, IL-10, Tu-2, Yak-18, and Po-2 (an ugly little bi-plane)
