Did you change anything in the settings?

If not, still go back and check your video settings (the one you can change on startup screen, resolution etc). Two days ago i got a CTD with error message and after that those settings got changed to defaul and wouldnt let me log in at all.

If that doesnt work. Back up all your custom folders. SETTINGS (!), Sounds, Sights, Films, Terrains, Skins, screenshots.....

Then try deleting your setting folder. Upon launching the game, it should create a new one with default settings. Check if the game works on those default settings.

If it does, copy your old settings back in one by one (all hps files, kmp, video.cfg, the jms files.....). After each time restart the game and see if it still works. That way you can weed out the cuplrit.

How is your connection looking?

Netstat in game (right click map)
Ping details on startup screen

I have been getting crashes at randomne times also since the arena change.  I'll get the aces high has encounted a problem and needs to cloes, get the white screen (to a black screen) and the last sonds i hear during the game just keep replaying and replaying.  I lose the mouse pointer too and have to ctrl alt del for task manager or ctrl esc and right click on the program bar and select close to get the error message up.  until thenm it just keeps playing the last wav i heard.  Any ideas what i can do to correct it?   it happens multiple times a day.  I'll post the error message details the next time i get it

dmf, Bear, post a DxDiag report with your system specs (only need the first 3 rd or so like above), also run a ping plot as Schatzi suggested above. The more info you post here, the better chance to get some help.

Bear, it looks to me that your system is on the low end for performance. What are your in game video settings? (when you load the game, click video instead of going online/ offline) With your system I'd set everything as low as I could. Maybe switch to 800x600 res, make sure the "preload" buttons are NOT checked, and drop the texture size (if its at 512 go down to 256, if 256 go down to 128).

510 meg of ram is JUST enough memory to run windows let alone a game on top of it, and with you video being an intergrateted chip with only 64 meg, well lets just say you don't really have a "gaming rig" there.  Turning down the graphics in the game could make it playable with out the crashes.

Good luck!
