I ran 98SE up untill about mid 2003...
I had no reason to upgrade to XP and only did it after I encountered a reinstall situation... I just sorta said screw it..... (all my mates were doing it so i blame them)
The biggest problem with the OS and Applications provided by M$ is the fact that they have 2 features that you use and 200 that you dont.
Outlook, word and excel are used in offices all around the world every day and I can garentee that %90 of the users would not know what a Field is in word or how to group emails by the sender in outlook....
Its like putting a 10year old on Rossies GP bike, yeah he can ride it but its a big F...King waste...
All the average user needs is a basic text email application (cmon how many pics have you sent at work that were really bussiness related) and a basic word processor that can do basic formatting (again how many times have you used word art for work purposses)
I know that there are a lotta people out there who want and can afford the biggest and best.... But bigger is not always best
Unforunatly Style will always win over substance....
I will not be "upgrading" to Blista untill I have no choice.....
