MOIL guess then we would have had to convince all the Bishops to defect to Knight or vis versa every sunday night to equal the once a week behind the sceens agreed upon extra ordinary influx of Rook players who otherwise would not have upped any night of the month.
I suspect even HiTech may have not allowed for the possiblity of so many squads agreeing to swamp the arena and make over all game play unrealistic. So in that case player cooperation efforts for Rook at the time may have hit a maximum effort HiTech only looked at as a theroetical possiblity.
Still, HiTech needed to retain control of his environment for the basic need of making a buck to pay the bills.
So MOIL, in stead of telling the rest of us it was our fault for not adapting. Tell HiTech,, how was he going to pay the electric bill and keep the majoritiy of players Knight and Bishop combined happy and engaged so they would keep coming back? One country, once a week making the game untenable and worth only logging off does not attract old players to stay or new ones to unless they are part of the super hoarding country.
But MOIL like everyone who drives a car, everyone elses problems on the road don't concern you as long as you can keep driving unhindered. But you will volinteer a plethura of opinions about other drivers habits when they infringe on your journy.
Puleeese volinteer an opinion on how HiTech was going to keep the lights lit with one country super hoarding equal or larger to the combined numbers of its 2 protaganist countries????????? After all when we logoff we don't worry about any more than our $14.95 a month. Hitech worries about multiple thousands a month along with customer retention and daily/long term happiness of customers.
So MOIL tell the Bish, Knights and HiTech how we all should have handeled Rook JSO back in those wonderful old days?
If you remember (maybe you don't) LTAR played for Nits for 3yrs and at the time the RJO was in place. No one likes to be bombarded by numbers, but it happens.
What I was saying was it wasn't any suprise that the Rooks had numbers on Sunday RJO, it was a well known fact.
The other "fact" was a lot of players seemed to throw in the towel or just log off due to Rooks numbers.
There are many squads on the Nits & Bish that will tell you we were right there "fighting" to the death no matter what the odds.
Many, many times myself and others would attempt to bring squads and groups together to put up resistance or take bases.
The unfortunate problem was most didn't listen or wanted to just run around and do their own thing.
This is fine, but don't start whinning when you get your butt kicked due to not reading the map or playing as a large coordinated group.
As far as "
But you will volinteer a plethura of opinions about other drivers habits when they infringe on your journy." I call laughable.
First off as one of many vets of the game I always tried to bring coheision and teamwork to the chess piece we were playing for.
If there's any one group that has been beaten into submission time & time again it's the LTAR's. You go ahead and ask anyone in the arena what squad has had their "journey" infringed upon more than anyone.
I think we hold the record for the most ordinance dropped on our heads than anyone else.
Then again what do I know...........
