Ya might wanna recheck that last statement.  Trudeau was more into ribbing Politics while Breathed was more to the humor of growing up and simple things.

Bloom County Rocked... I still laff til I get tears and some of the strips... My favorite is when they are all on this board, held by a rock talking about this BIG snake below them....

Last thing you see is CRACK and they all disappear, screaming down towards the snake...

I still have a few Bloom County books at home... Think I'll reread them all when I get back home.

Some things just remain Priceless.

Wasn't talking about the content, I actually like both.  But the first time I saw Bloom County I thought Trudeau started another strip.  Stylistically they are very, very similar.

Edited for the numpty.

"Over the Hedge" was good too... but then again if I mentioned Andy Capp, Bazokka Joe or Gasoline Alley I'd be giving my age away...so I won't.

Or Baby Huey, Heckle and Jeckle, Romper Room, Captain Kangaroo, Steam Boat Willy, Mighty Mouse, Casper or having a Black & White Zenith that took 30 minutes to warm up...no not gonna give away my age not for a minute!!!

Superman, Sgt Rock, Stoney...way before the Beatles...pfft before the friesbee, hula hoop and fake Christmas Trees *is this kewl NeuBob? I made 2 words outta it*? and the Hardy Boys...Mickey Mouse Club, Lone Ranger, Davy Crockket...LOL everyone ran around in Raccoon Hats..well kids did.

The ol times were better...miss them.

Times change, so do people.

Mac

I miss my Dinosuar the most.

Somewhere, Mac, in this vast, great nation, is a household paint manufacturer that owes you a lot of money.

I actually thought it was funny too.

But what do I know, my humor is often under the radar here.
