Even though lazs2 will probably scream, Thunder Ranch has required "eco-friendly non-lead ammo" ever since moving from Texas to Lakeview, OR. Given the sheer number of rounds fired at their Texas facility, I can easily see why. Clean-up on that scale would consume plenty of time and cash. Though to be honest, using some of the V-type bullet traps would solve the problem just as easily. Plus the spent bullets/brass can be recycled and trainees don't have to worry about their zero going to pot by requiring non-lead ammo.
As far as the cattle are concerned... why am I reminded of SeaQuest DSV?
