Sorry to hear you took a few rounds. My family and I will pray for a speedy recovery for ya:aok I wish we could own handguns in Chicago. No go here. Fortunately they let me keep my Franchi 12 ga street sweeper before the ban. Always right next to the bed. Wife is profeicient in home defense too. Again nice job bro!:aok

Exactly the reason I use a .45 for home defense. You WILL land kills. You don't want a peashooter in a gunfight. I also load progressively more agressive rounds in my clips. 3 FMJ, 2 Hollow Point, 2 Black Talon.

For the tinfoil types, the reason it didn't make the news is this is becoming commonplace in south Tarrant County. If the guys broke into 3 or 4 places they might make the news.

If a home invasion results in the the home owner getting shot twice and then killing one attacker and seriously wounding another it makes the news - no matter where you live or 'how common place' you think that type of thing is.

first off...y would someone lie bout something like this...secondly....murdr has talked to iceman since. not everyone lies bout stuff, i mean come on, this is a story that could have turned out really really bad for the good guy and it didnt', they prolly chaulked it up to another shooting of bunch of gang bangers tryin to break into someone's house and got a BIG surprise.

there r gang shootings and bad things happening all over the world, just cuz its not in the newpaper or on CNN or FOX news channel doesnt' mean it didnt happen, i think yall need to chill out with ur " oh it didnt happen cuz there is nothing on the news bout it " crap, wait for iceman to get better then ask him all the questions that might have ur small minds in doubt.
