My opinion means nothing, ask anyone "good", they'll tell you "Karaya sucks". I have a new outlook on this game after taking a two-week layoff. The folks nowadays are more into "rank hightening" then "getting into a 10 minute long fight that leaves you drained." My new motto is "Two tears in a bucket, mother f*** it."

Those days are gone.

I rarely get <>'s, but I give them out. Those "who cannot be bothered" are the "egotistical elite" of an "imaginative far-off land" folks that I'd careless in life to meet anyways. If it WAS/IS a good fight, I think regardless of "who won", a salute should happen. If I'm in a 1 vs 1 and some lamer swoops in ruining it for both, they can salute me all day, they won't get a response out of me. I was in a 1 vs 1 with "CaptCole" a month ago, and a friendship was born. I winged with his squadron for a week. Life is too short.

But really, Killn himself told me only "1/2 of your first post was true". I rarely post about fights in here, it isn't worth it. I get accused of "having an ego", and I do not have one. Heck, about a year ago, ghi posted a thread on "would you vulch this field?". I posted "that I would and have", Viper215 saw fit to exclaim "do you think you are some God or something?" All I did was state a fact and got under someone's skin, "because I didn't give some the answer they were looking for."

I've shot down "the best" (except Vati) and get shot down by the worst, I have no "ego". I DO get pissed when some are too chicken to fight 1 on 1. Why am I rambling on? I haven't the foggiest idea, but I felt the need too.
Heck I even had my post BLATANTLY ignored (it's obvious why) in "platano's P-47 thread", because I "told the truth." It's life, I was just raised not to lie.

look, i get picked/rammed/ho'd/good fights and everything else every day. Im sorry you took a question as whining/bit..../moaning or anything else. I asked a question.
I never said what you did was a lame tactic, dweeby, noobish or anything else, I asked a question. If you took it that way, im sorry.

Im not "questioning" how you play, but asking a question of why people choose to do that. Anyone can ask me why I choose to play the way I do, fight the way I do and I wont have a single problem with it. I dont have a problem answering it. I fly for fun, kill people and try to land in one piece. I wont run from a 1 vs 1 at any alt situation in game, period...because to me a good 1 vs 1 in MA is a rare thing. I pick and rope because it is easy to kill people that way when they fall for it. I TnB because it is dang fun for me. Ive TnB dang K4 with everything in game...won some, lost some, but it is dang fun for me to try to win in a TnB(not all horizontal turns) agains a plane that should out TnB me.

I dont grab over my own base, ever...because I want to push fight to enemy. Best defense is good offense.

I typically lvl at 8-10k because anything else is just overkill imo.

see, its ez. I dont mind answering question of how I play or why I do it that way.

I do have an issue with people that I rarely see in MA, trying to tell me I play a certain way and thats it...because majority of the time they are dead wrong. Not enough to get upset over, because it is a game, but do have in issue nonetheless.

flying in a group? no biggie, I was CO of 475th for awhile, was fun for me at the time to fly in groups of 38s and just rampage a sector of the map with the people i was flying with, because I enjoyed flying with them. That ended up getting somewhat old to me, and I left for various reasons to "lonewolf" for a bit and feel free to fly whatever I wantedl, where ever I wanted, with whom i wanted and however I wanted...without feeling obligated to my squad...which I put on myself.
I still fly with most of them, they are great group of guys who are a joy to fly with and against.

Point is, fly how you want. was never saying it was wrong how you fly...was asking why people chose to do it. To me, there is a difference there. if there is not...then so be it.

I was RAISED to treat other's how I am treated. Maybe you should get with Falcnwng, he may "tell you things that you are oblivious too." If you THINK I am as "shallow as to get bent out of shape over a stupid game", you are wrong.

What was the reason for posting this? What did you hope to accomplish? Did your post add anything to this board?

KillnU didn't seem to be calling you out, he just seemed curious as to why you were over your own base. I don't think he meant to infer that being over your own base was 'dweebish'. He just didn't understand why you were there and he wanted to know.

You made it more than it was. You took it as him trying to diminish your accomplishment in shooting him down, which I don't think he was doing.

I don't know either of you. This is just the way that I see it.

KillnU is the first Rook in about 2 weeks I've successfully picked as a knight and lived to tell the tale. Usually I run into hoards of rooks at alt alone. I guess the reason I survived getting him was from my perspective a solo rook diving on the knight feild I happened to be over. I couldn't beleive my luck. No buddies to to hoard my 6 when I commited to the attack.... I kinda figured in a K4 with that tactic it was a noob or someone who would make me regret getting involved.

I thought I shot a noob when the wing fell off. When I saw the kill message I figured he would send a salute and come back to kick my kester..... I hung around and tangled with 2-109's I thought was him and a freind hedin back for my hide. When higher spits, ponis and a tempest moved in my fuel dictated an rtb. Today was the first time I have survived a rook hoard and landed even one kill in a few weeks.

I've been fiten bish because their hoards are usualy below 12k and occassionaly I can pick one or two before I get in trouble with the rest....

I guess my rambling here is I expected KillnU to up and avenge himself on me as the top stick I think he is rather then use ch200 to make us both look silly. 1 vs 1 even start I can't beat him. Heck Ive only shot YUCCA down once in the DA and we were both in spit5's..........

I take none of you seriously, so there is no hate involved. I was merely stating that you, hubs, and a few others never have anything good to say to anyone. You come here just to harp on people. I couldn't care less about what any of you do in-GAME<-yes game. Some of you take this crap wayyyyy to seriously. So, all the yap about "hate baggage" and BK this and that (you lost me there) is pretty friggin funny to me. Bustr dont even be bothered by the BBS brood. as i understand how this fourm is suppose to work, u sharing your opinion and replying to responses is the intent of this place. true getting run over roughshod by a particular few in here is typical of the forums. there are just those people who have to interject regardless.

Killnu if you openly admitted that there are styles of play that you dont understand, maybe you should consider the alt defense one of them. although i have to admit it seems to be common practice in rookland. yes that is a generic blanket statement but there are many a times when i have tried to get into a rook base only to find a 15k defender circling aimlessly.

I can understand grabbin up some near base to get coalt with guys coming in...but why not move away from your own base and push fight to enemies? If that wouldve happened, I would not of been 8-10K directly over your field without seeing a con. The fight wouldve been in between both fields.

not sure where the heck you came up with this "my 15k or so"....I was at 10.5k when you bounced me....I was at no point in time above where you hit me at.

Now, the question still stands, just like I asked on 200, why stay over own field when you have alt on incoming cons? why not push to enemy base and push them down some?

edit...and no, I never saw you up there.

I distinctly remember this on SQ ch! You asked me, "Who in the hell climbs to 15 K to defend a base?" I replied, "Dweebs!"

Until you complained I admired your AH legend as an uber game player and someone for players to aspire to be like.

Unlike yourself, my recolection of the minute trivia and nuances of the fight are not very important. So I apologise if my recoloection is not as good as yours. Maybe thats part of why you are uber at this game.

My only concern is we average cherry fodder players only get a kill on someone like yourself by accident. And being at the uber level you obviously are it was strange you would complaine like some one of lesser abilities and impulse control.

Again I hope you were just having a bad day and all will be ok with yourself soon.... My apologeise if I cannot play the game correctly....
