Wheather you use the LA as a TnB/angles fighter or as a BnZ, it needs a lot of throttle and flap work to control your closure rate and turn. Im not saying dont go for it - on the contrary. It will teach you a lot - im just "warning" you that its not as *easy mode* as some comments can lead you to think.

THAT happens to be the most sensible and accurate assessment of the La-7 that I have seen in a long, long time. That plane is no simple "point and shooter": it requires considerable skill to fly it properly.

:noid  looks like a troll to me. Great answers though. Majority in this game were new once. The rest were veterans and sages. Dweebs could describe all of us who fly the pixilated skies.

Ahem,

Ask "who is a dweeb" and you may get as many different answers as there are responders.

Fact of the matter is. EVERYONE is a dweeb. Its all a matter of what kind of dweeb you are.

I myself for example have been known to be a Baseporker Dweeb. A GV Dweeb,a Nik Dweeb, a 109 Dweeb, and a 190 Dweeb.

Whatever it is your doing at that moment. You are a dweeb at.

A good deal of people start out as spit dweebs (myself not included) and then graduate as their skill and interests in the game evolve.

be whatever type of dweeb you like and dont worry about what anyone else says.

Cause....Well they're dweebs too
'
Its good you are trying out the other planes. Learn to become proficient in as many as you can and you will greatly broaden the spectrum of your enjoyment here.

Also helps sometimes when your not doing so well.
Having an off night in one particular plane. change to a different one. Each aircraft has its own distinct personality.
Learn to find the one that fits you the best at that moment.

Broaden your spectrum of dweebiness and you will be in a much better position to kill other dweebs more often then they kill you
Death is no easy answer
For those who wish to know
Ask those who have been before you
What fate the future holds
It ain't pretty

Fly what you want i fly the spit 16 mostly and i aint no dweeb i can fly all the planes prbly better then the average person but my fav are the 16 and la7. i remember when i beat chanzz in has yak vs my 16 and he called me a dweeb so we went to the DA and fought yak vs yak and i beat him 3-0 and i rarely fly the yak so i learned he aint the king of yaks like he called himself.

Seems to be a concensus starting to build here:

1 - tune out Channel 200.  Yep, definately not worth it.

2 - Try some different Spits in the line up.  If you like Spits, you like Spits, but you might find one that suits your flying better than the 16 does.

3 - try the La 5.  Also, might want to take a Bf 109 K-4 for a ride.

4 - turn fighter?  Try the A6M5, the Kia-84, the Bf 109 F-4, FM-2  Some nice offerings out there if you have a desire to fly something everybloodybody else is not in already.

5 - fly what you like
