Audrey Hepburn was born in Belgium, raised in Britain and the Netherlands. She spoke fluent English, Dutch and French in her childhood which accounted for her odd intonations and pronunciations. My wife is a big Audrey fan, has read several books about her and has summarized many of the books to me. She also has somewhat the same figure which is why I stopped to talk to her on Waikiki beach back in 1995. Most of my wife’s dress-up clothes are Audrey type.
