i vote yes also.

although when i thought about it for a while, the obvious answer popped into my head...

they found a 'more cost effective' way to host the game, but in doing so they couldnt host 600+ in one arena.

cheaper server cost = worse stability for high numbers = switch to split arenas.

if we really think about it, we will see that HTC doesnt care for ever going back on this, not only that but maybe they cannot host a server with such high numbers anymore.

hope its earning some good money for them if this is true, in all honesty i would prefer them to earn more money and spend more time on improving the game than switch back to the old server.

the new system is crappy at times, but if HTC went bust it would be alot worse.

of course, this could just be incorrect speculation, but it makes sense as a reason why they will never give us the old system no matter how much we whine.

It's a moot point because HT is the only real vote on this, but I would rejoin if this happened. I voted with my wallet and left a few months ago primarily because of this issue.

I like how many times, EW and MW will have higher caps than the two LW's.

Maybe two to three dozen pilots in EW and MW, and hundreds in the LW's.

Customer-base has spoken..... a large percentage want the late war "uber" rides, and the rest follow the pack looking for the numbers to make for a good fight (or vulch, or horde, or cherry picking opportunities, or channel 200 griefing.... ).

is been said enough times there wont be 1 arean again so like it or lump it.

maybe combining the early and mid togeather would be good start of with early planes then through the month add the late planes?
we got to face it guys 1 ig arena with big maps is long gone

to me improving the game has less to do with graphics and more to do with gameplay and PvP.. game was alot better when there was 500+ in an arena imo..

i dont see the issue with u ew and mw guys i mean all i saw when i flew in there were people flying the fastest rides for that era.. so whats the difference between that and flying a lala or p51 in LW?.. Theres really no difference.

the difference is the most people i get tosee in early or mid is 30 and they are mostley on the same side milk running and taking empty bases

With HiTech's post in the other thread about numbers online and they regularly having over 850 or something... and then with the ammount of new players coming into the game, I would not be suprised at all to see the LW arenas both having a max of 500+ in the near future.

the part that stinks sometimes is during the US "Daytime" where the caps are in the 150-200 range and you want to fly where your squaddies are.

It was never a server issue Bat. It has alway been a social issue. As the arena population increased the community suffered, causeing to much of a rift between countries and such. HTC wants the smaller arenas to bring the comunity back to how it was before. As the numbers increase again, don't be surprised to see the caps either lock at 350-400 in the LW arenas forcing more to go to MW and EW ( my prefferance), or another LW arena appearing down the road.
