And "no" chance that the two girls out of 150 were coached toward that answer?... and the statement didn't say whether the "touch" was unwelcome or not....  no parent present?  No female officer present?  Sounds like a witch hunt.

IIRC from personal experience, coping a feel at age 12 or 13 just rated a slap a little under half the time.  Maybe a little less.  Occasionally a swift drop kick I'd remember for days.

Sure glad I ain't a kid these days.  Can't drive.  No fooling around.  Drinking under age results in world crashing onto your head.

No wonder they just do drugs and play video games all the time.  Least amount of static from it.

and to think we drove around town with shotguns in our pick up trucks, friends in the back with shotguns plainly visible as we cruised around.  no one thought it a big deal either

I don't think 12, or 13 year old girls have breasts. A few might, but I don't know these things.

Todays laws on sexual abuse is just F*** upped. Kids at these ages don't know what they are doing. Aren't people in this country smart? Kids don't get educated about sex until the 5th grade or 6th grade. I remember in gym the first time they started talking about sex. They didn't even talk much about it either. OMG an 18 year old got a 17 year old pregnant. Who cares many people did that back then. A guy in my town about 30 was working in his backyard, and he had to take a leak. So he took a leak in a bush where no one could see his PP. Then someone saw him taking a leak but they didn't see his PP, called the Police and now he is a registered sex affender, for just taking a quick PP break. OMG someone is going to be registered as a sex affender because they took a leak in the woods on a hiking trip and some A hole saw them taking a leak. How can people charge such young kids that are just starting there puberty as sexual preditors. Sexual preditors are old men or women who had some sort of sexual contact with a minor. Now minors get these charges because they touched a minor. This is why I don't have a GF. I'm 18, and I'm a Junior and even most of the girls my age are dating 20 year olds and those that are avaible are 17-15 and I'm not going to risk it. F*** upped laws. To many kids have lost there rights to life because they touched a girl or guy some where because they didn't know they couldn't do that. Those parents should sue the state.

"OMG what a cute baby" "Yeah his only 5 month old, you want to hold him?" "Sure. OMFG your son just touched my breasts, I'M CALLING THE POLICE!"

Todays top news, a 5 month old baby is charged with sexual abuse by just touching a womans breast's. The baby was charged as an adult and was sentence to 40 years in prison. This is what the baby had to say after law officers intergated the 5 month old. "Blah,gu,bo,blejaj, splsss, uhnljsdojbua."

These boys are now charged with 10 counts of sexual abuse on the two girls, 10 years for each count.

Nice to know you'll be in Jail for the rest of your life when you're 12.

They've been in Juvey now for what? 4 days, they still haven't been allowed a visit from they're parents.

There was a man driving down a suburb road.  A girl ran from behind a bush in front of his car.  He didn't even see her at all.  He slams on the brakes, and comes to a stop just infront of her.  He gets out of his car, grabs the little girl by her wrist and take her home to deride her in front of her parents.

He then gets charged with sexual assault and gets convicted...

If “touching a breast” can get a kid 20 years in the slammer what would “playing doctor” get him? The death penalty?

You Americans are getting more and more hysterical (some of you anyways).

The mistake those two boys made is they did not murder the girls afterwards, because if they had they would have only gotten a slap on the wrist and get put on meds for a few years.

I keep seeing similar cases lately, the guy locked for 20 years for consentual sex with another teenager, the teacher facing 40 yrs because of adware porn popups in the classroom Win 98 computer, 5 yr olds expelled for a kiss on the cheek...

The totally stupid thing is that at this rate, when, say 3 or 4 of every 10 people are registered sex offenders for whatever rearded reason a DA thought of, being on that list will no longer mean anything.

Hell, people will start trying to get put in it just to have that on a T-shirt of something...

I don't know how many of you actually read the article. It seems there is quite a bit more than meets the eye, at least as far as the Superintendent is concerned. Here is a comment from the bottom of the article.

"McMinnville School Superintendent Maryalice Russell said the arrests were made because of alleged sex abuse and not because of the spanking."

I'm wondering if this is not a case of an agressive defense in media trial rather than something else. Has anyone been able to find anything else on this case recently?

I'm not taking a position on one side or the other in this case as it just doesn't sound quite right the way it was portrayed in the article. I'm wondering if we don't have 2 different situations being discussed as one.

Maverick, I already explained what the "meet the eye" was earlier in the thread.

The two boys were released from Juvey late last night and and a forthcoming court appearance to look forward to.

Actually you didn't. All you indicated was that there were 10 counts of sexual offenses. Type and seriousness is indeterminate at this time.

Since the offenses are still being considered at the juvinile level the penalty can only extend to the 18th birthday. At that point their record is likely to be sealed. That means 6 years of some kind of penalty if they are adjudicated as guilty.
