i would definitely say your one of the most amusing smackers of the current breed, i meant no offence to your skillz, i just remember a time years back when smack talking took some class, its all the children STMTs these days that bring the bar down a good few levels, sadly.

Well, I do take credit for popularizing a few phrases.  I'm pretty sure I brought the use of the word "twit" to prominence in AH and the phrase "<----owns!"  is now close to being my trademark.  I am working on my next phrase now, to be released on ch200 sometime in the next two weeks!:D

stang, phan, silat, sketch are the only ones i have flown in the MA at the same times as.

none of them are smack tards. they may all be cocky, mouthy, kill stealing scumbags but they aint smack tards as to my understanding of smack.

shane was definitely a smack tard grade A oldskool, i once was winging with shane in P47s in the main, he was heavy with ord for some reason, and 5 mins in to the flight he was roping a niki for me. i missed the shot and the niki looped down after him and i followed as best i could evetually making the shot and clearing him. i joked on country 'sorry i couldnt clear ya quick enough' and any normal person would have automatically replied 'hey no bother he died thanks for clearing me'....

....not shane, he launched into a 2 minute smack assault that would have rivaled one of hitlers political speaches purely about the fact that *I* made him drop his ord. was one of the funiest moments in the game ive had.

the 'top of thier game' smack tards of this era are smack tard Grade B Newskool material.

the finest ever Smack tard grade B of this era was WindX/Noogie. perfectly nice and friendly guy to me for the most part, but when he got set into his smack it didnt matter how wrong he was he wouldnt admit defeat. quite outstanding. kind of like the kid who just wont accept hes lost a school yard fight and just keeps runnning back in to get laid out again.

I think in general we have a very good community. Lately I have been flying in EW where numbers are limited. Ch 200 talk can be very polite and respectful. Had a really good dogfight with Hornet33. I was in a Bf190F and he was in a Zeke.

I knew I couldnt turnfight him, tried to get some front quarter shots, he acused me of going for the Ho. So I thought I would drag him up to 20K where I should have gained the performance advantage. He knew what I was doing and RTB'd.

We discussed the engagement on ch 200 and he said he would up a 190f and I agreed to let him get to alt. We engaged at 10k first pass guns dry and had a really good dogfight.

another rook, Kronoes arrived and I asked him to let us do a 1 on 1 he agreed to watch only.

Often the "community" will respond with kindness and respect if approached that way. For the tards that won't, have a little fun with them or ignore them. Remeber most are young and should grow up eventually.

Focus on the good people we have.

This is true. AH is the most 'supportive' and 'friendly' online 'community' I have come across. There will always be knobs who make it less enjoyable, but for the most part the people who play this game are great.

I'm noticing this more and more as I get better at all of this.

For all the cheaters, ace pilots and Ho'ers as well as all the smack-talking lamers, this game still has a great set of people playing.

I don't fly with the knights or the rooks much, but I know that the Bish are a supportive bunch of lads who a usualy willing to help out even the most annoying n00bs.

I'm sure it's much the same on the other two countries.

I don't mind helping n00bs, but when I am in the MA.   If they continually ask questions, or become annoying and excessing, I WILL squelch them.   I spent 45 minutes in the TA, and was already in Nazgul when I started.   I RARELY asked a single question, I did NOT read the manual.    I applied common sense and just upped a 38.   Flew it around, and got to know the flight characteristics.

I did NOT impune on country text asking "HOW DO I START MY ENGINE!"   IMO, if you have to type that, GTF out of the MA.  If I'm a "knob" for feeling that way, then so be it.    I don't care because Channel 6 is there, and is hardly EVER USED.

LOL those are the best , the online option should be greyed out until they have flown offline for a few sorties, or have gone to the training arena .

Agreed. How anyone can muster up the balls to fly in the MA without first flying offline to familiarize, then got to TA for a bit to get used to flying with others is beyond me.

New flayers should have to log a minimum # of hrsin the TA before MA becomes available. IMO.

Lately the number of unsolicited join requests has become bothersome. At least that screen blocker that used to come up is gone.

Ouch! I feel really bad... because, just when I decided to play your game for a while and was about to reply to your ST, I lost UDP, got discoed and decided I had enough for that night...! :D Too bad I discovered this thread only now! :lol

Btw, you were tedious because your ST was clearly faked and lacked the necessary anger and frustration, that's it... you can't fake them, you have to be really pissed off to ST well! ;D

Anyway, our community is not bad at all, and I like to listen at channel 200... most of the times you'll find people who are just bantering and teasing each others all in good humor and when some tard starts the ST, I just ignore text buffer and concentrate on the outside "world" (that's when my SA improves... :D). As 38ruk said, channel 200 it what gives the game its community dimension: I'm not gonna lose it only for some STMTs! Amen.

Dichotomy, thanks for the pictures, they're great, especially the one Parin used later! :)

It's been said we have three brains, one cobbled on top of the next. The stem is first, the reptilian brain; then the mammalian cerebellum; finally the over developed cerebral cortex.  They don't work together in awfully good harmony - hence ax murders, mobs, and socialism.

LOL.  You must think very highly of yourself to believe you are some kind of slang trend setter or have you forgotten this is a game populated largely by adults and not a lunch room for 8th graders?
The only person I've seen utter "twit", with any regularity is you. Besides, it' s not like you invented the word.
The self promotion thing works on some people though. 68rox is ready to kneel and do your bidding. For your sake, I hope he doesn't have braces.
