I'm starting to understand the AH players a little better.
Smart flyers stack the odds in their favor, and then kill you when the risk to themselves is lowest ...
Smart flyers try to engineer the fight such that the advantages of their aircraft come into play even if it means delaying or avoiding some engagements ...
Smart flyers may not get as many kills per hour, but tend to get higher Kill/Death ratios ...
Smart flyers recognize that planning and patience are significant components to landing a successful fight...
_____________________________ _______________
Duelists charge into the fray regardless of the odds, looking to see how long their aircraft handling and gunnery skills can avert death...
Duelists don't care greatly about deaths if they are having fun in the process ...
Duelists may get more kills per hour of play, but tend to have lower Kill/Death ratios ...
Duelists feel that the only skill is ACM and utilizing anything other than maneuvering and/or energy management to attain a shot in order to win an engagement is the mark of dweeb.

This has always been true wherever I've flown, at least to some extent and mostly as a result of a certain amount of frustration when someone chooses to play the game differently than what another person considers to be in their favor given their own chosen style of play. What's new to me with Aces High is the extent to which the sides seem to be polarized (at least on the forums) and the vitriolic disdain that each has for those who subscribe to the other view point.
And therfore, so that we can get this all out in the open once and for all and sort out exactly who does and does not have stars upon thars, I ask ....
Which are you? Are you a Cherry Picker, or Squirming Weasel?
