Yeap, had it happen last nght while hitting a field with some 24's.  Was at 12k and in the pipe lining up on two more fighter hangers, (already had 2 down)... anyways, a lone tiffie rolls up behind me and sits at about 1.5 out and was just waiting.  After learning some tricks from 999000, (which I cannot tell you ) I drop eggs, jump in the tail gun and hit the tiffie from about 1000 out as he started to close.  Was great timing and was proud of myself for getting the timing right.  As he falls to his death I see the text buffer message of the two hangers being destroyed.  Almost instantly I see 200 light up "nice warp".... I asked when.... he said "right when you dropped your bombs, you dropped off of radar".....  Your radar just got knocked out at the base......
With that final comment I get nothing back from him and he logs.....  Like MoneyGuy said, if they die and it didn't go in favor of them, your a cheater, but then again some people think some of the best squads overall in the game milk thier score in the EW/MW even though most of the squads time is in the LW.... How the heck do you pad a score in LW?

If you had sufficient reading comprehension to recognize the intent of my reply, you'd see it was a rhetorical question, pointing out that RWY bombing being lame or fair, whether you should do it again, has little or nothing to do with what others think of it... hence asking it in a thread open to anyone sort of contradictory.

You must be insane.  I'll tell you why.  "IF" runway damage was modelled how long would it take for Mr Nintendo kid to figure out that all you have to do is bomb the plane spawn points.  In effect closing a field with less bombs than normal.   Then how long would it take for Mr Nintendo kid to figure that if he whacked a plane spawn and flew around he would pick up crap loads of kills as planes spawned to instant death.  I can just see the glee on the Bish kids face right now.

Been there done this in another HTC sim.  Was called the spawn wars back then and even though there was a gentleman's agreement not to.  It still happened on a daily bases somewhere.

As for the guy opening this thread getting 1 kill from prolly a minimum of 6 bombs......what a total waist of his time but it's his time.  Not mine.  Personally I would have bombed the town or flown out and come back in when hangers upped.  Good luck to the guy if that's his gig.

Well..next time I decide to start I thread I will PM you first to see if it meets your standards for thread validity in open fourm on the internet. I wouldn't want you to have to look up anymore latin words that have nothing to do with my thread or post, so that you can feel better about being you and sounding semi intelligent. How long were you holding on to that phrase? A week? A month? Find something else to do with your time rather than sitting around being a fourm troll. If you don't have anything vaild to add to the topic then stay out. It is just the simple.


Back on topic. Now I want to set up a bombing mission to take out a single tower. I would need guys that knew how to bomb. How many buffs do you think it would take to drop a fields tower?

This thread is to discuss the tactic of RWY bombing. That is all. Yes I asked what others thought about the matter and yes I asked if they feel I should do it again. However that is not going to impact how I fly.
 Moot has a habit of going into threads and bringing nothing to the table but negtive comments. I was simply pointing out that if you do not have anything to add on the subject then don't add anything at all. I am far from mad my friend. I am about to go to dinner with the most beautiful woman on the planet..IMO. I am in a great mood.

So, you can't deny that your post was as contradictory as I pointed out, but you do bite really hard at anything that even remotely seems to be an invitation to smack talk.. which like I said was a wrong assumption.
