High zekes and wildcats.

N1ks and Ki-84s are also a ****ing massive pain in the arse.

I have discovered that the Ki-84 is a free lunch when in  a 109F

I never seem to be in a 109F when I run into Ki-84s, though.

If it has guns and can roll/turn worth beans, anything.

Hell i beat planes in SBD-5 with them x2 .50's mounted on the nose, i have slaughterd temps and spit16's with that beast.

Nothing like having your ubber ride jacked up by x2 .50's in a 42 bomber.
Suck it down sucka' mobs.

the "most feared" plane i think is the LA7,a freeken noob can kill you with it,it keeps up with a -4 on the deck and can keep up with a temp for a shot time period.but it's not the plane it's the person in it.for example,C-hog's not that good but if shawks in it,your allready dead.

the one you can not out maneuver.............but it is not something to fear, it is something you should look toward as a challenge and learning experience.....

Fear is the wrong word.

I don't like seeing a Hurri IIc or an F4U-1C when I'm low and slow with someone else cause I know it only takes a short burst from those 4 cannon birds to wreck me.

Tiffies cause the same concern as they usually come in at light speed while I'm low and slow and their 4 cannons cause trouble.  But I don't see as many Tiffies.

I know what I look for when I'm out and about in the 38G and that's Spit 16s, LA7s  N1Ks and Ki-84s.

I get great satisfaction from shooting at those birds in particular :)

I feel the same way.

I like to fly less-popular planes, and there are plenty of planes that can both outrun and outturn the planes that I usually fly.  So, when I'm out of E and getting run down by a plane that can also greatly outturn me, I feel less hopeful about the outcome; and if I'm getting run down by planes faster than mine, followed by planes that can easily outturn me, I see my doom approaching.

Heh!  "It came from the ocean combo" -- I like that. :)  Reminds me of a cookbook my girlfriend has with a seafood chapter titled "Horrors from the Briny Deep".

I notice that when a 262 flies over a furball every one is talking about it.................

Doesn't seem to happen for other aircraft...........

I'm always leary of P40s.  Sure, as a plane, they're awful.  But that's just it.  It breeds uncertainty...what the hell is that guy thinking?  It's like the bum on the street with the crazed look in his one lazy eye.  Something makes you want to stay away.

Then 5 La7s and 7 Spit 16s dive on him before I can worry anymore about it.
