A: you and I are not debating.

B: I merely asked you to acknowledge that less murders in the US would be a good thing.  I even went so low as 1000, which is a far cry from the 9000 that SOMEONE else posted.  So again, I'm not using any source, I dismissed the 9000 from our discussion.  What is it in your mind that makes you incapable of comprehending this? You are so desperate to win a debate that only you are having that you cannot acknowledge less murders are better.  Let me make myself clear:  We are not debating, you do not lose anything if you somehow manage to concede that less murders would be good. You are so incapable of having a civil and logical discussion, no we are NOT debating, that it has become apparent to me that name calling is about all you understand.

To get right down to it Steve, I asked  CHECKERS for a source to his quotes. You jumped in and tried to derail that with a strawman arguement. But, using your same logic (and this IS a debate, BTW) I'll change the guns scenario to something less close to your heart, let's say automobiles. 42,836 people were killed in/by automobiles in 2005 (note this little thingy>)source . If we just eliminated automobiles those 42,836 people would still be alive. Can't you just admit getting rid of automobiles would be a good thing?
