just for lines that are not horizontal or vertical making them look smooth
if its a straight angled line you can rotate the line to the angle needed then paste it ont your horizontal or vertical panel lines layer.
i make the lines black with 100% opacity and fill.
if its a straight line I just draw it with a pencil
curved line I use the circle marque if its a circle then delete the center of the circle with another circle marque after i fill it in
for odd curving lines i use the polygonal lasso
here is an example of the area i am working on now it is the left side nose of the 109k4.
I am using photographs and drawings to try and understand how the nose is put together and I am drawing in the black panel lines in two separate layers. one labeled vertical panel lines the other horizontal panel lines. much easier to edit when constructing the skin especially if doing it from scratch and having to eyeball things.
feel free to use this as a guide for mapping out your nose panel lines you will just have to line it up with some existing landmarks on the texturemap of airmess' origional lines.
note the exhaust manifold is angled now to follow the angle of the exhaust pipes.
