Saw it, was great!  Haven't figured out how the Hoover Dam is 20 minutes from Los Angeles, but other than that, great stuff!

Too bade Clyde from Every Which Way But Loose isnt around, he could of played the monkey from Speed Racer.  Come to think of it, Clint should be Speed.

Imagine him opening the trunk up and giving another racer the bird. SO shocked, the other guy drived off the mountain.

There were Transformers in this movie?!

Seriously, though, GO SEE IT. I think they did a superb job of capturing the original cartoon, and I understood most of the changes they needed to make (Like Megatron's alternate mode).

I was impressed. I was expecting this movie to ruin my childhood cartoon. But it was really good. Some good humor in it to. I recommend going to see it.

I thought the different Transformers could have used a bit more character development, (aside from Prime and Bumblebee we don't really get much, especially the Decepticons) however with plans for two more movies I suppose there's time do to it over the course of the series.

Wow two more movies, I just read they are making another one.

I wonder if they are going to bringing in the dinobots, or the constructicons?

Anyways Saxman your right a little back ground on the decepticons would have been nice.

Why do you hippies want to understand their backgrounds?  It's simple:

They hate our FREEDOM!

What are you, some sort of Decepticon-lover?  Go back to Cybertron!

I watched it yesterday.  This is the best mecha live-action film i've seen.

(oh wait, there's never been a live-action mecha movie until now)

If Wiki is to believed (BIG "if") they already have an idea of how to introduce the Dinobots, and they're looking to bring in the Constructicons.

The opening scene of the attack on the military base made me think about a Battletech movie.
